The surging Sacramento Kings have put together seven straight victories, and that’s an ideal platform for tonight as they try to turn the tables on a Milwaukee Bucks team that’s had their number.
Milwaukee has won nine of the past 10 meetings, but my Kings vs Bucks predictions point to a different script here and a strong outing from the Sacramento offense, led by its do-it-all big man.

My analysis
Domantas Sabonis has had his fingerprints all over this Sacramento Kings win streak, from 28 rebounds against the Boston Celtics to a huge triple-double to sink the Miami Heat. And he’s going to be a central figure again tonight as the Kings take on the Milwaukee Bucks’ towering frontcourt.
I see Sabonis stuffing the stat sheet here, but his scoring could be the biggest difference-maker as the visitors chase an eighth straight victory. He’s gone past the 20-point mark in his last four outings, including 23 points in Boston, and Malik Monk’s absence opens up even more volume.
Sure, there are still plenty of mouths to feed in this Sacramento offense, but Sabonis’ efficiency — 62% from the field so far in January — means he doesn’t need 20 shots to hit this Over.
After Milwaukee coughed up 140 points against the New York Knicks on Sunday, there are clearly defensive holes for the Kings to exploit.
De’Aaron Fox and DeMar DeRozan should give the Bucks fits on the perimeter, especially with Khris Middleton sitting out, and a scrambling defense opens the door for easy Sabonis buckets in the paint.
There are only so many places Giannis can be at once, so don’t be surprised if Sabonis helps himself to some second-chance points in this one. He went past this 18.5 O/U number in both matchups with Milwaukee last season, and he arrives at Fiserv Forum at the top of his game.

I’m loading up on Sacramento here and adding the Kings moneyline for my SGP. While this matchup hasn’t been kind to the visitors in recent years, they’re 10-7 on the road this season, and I prefer to trust their depth over Milwaukee’s short rotation.
The Bucks are 5-5 in their last 10 games and just 16-21-1 ATS this season — plus Giannis (probable) has been hampered by a knee issue. If this turns into a shootout, it surely favors a Sacramento team that ranks in the Top 10 in points per game and field-goal attempts per game.
With no Middleton off the bench and a couple of non-shooters in the starting five, Milwaukee is more dependent than ever on Damian Lillard heating up from downtown, and that should translate to a heavy diet of 3-point attempts for Dame tonight.
Lillard has posted a 41% mark from deep this month, and I’m taking the Over on 2.5 makes from beyond the arc. He’s knocked down three or more 3-pointers in eight of his past 10 contests.
