Knicks vs Pistons Props & Best Bets for Sunday

When it comes to urgency on both ends, the Pistons and Knicks feel it more than ever as Detroit tries to even up the series with players like Karl-Anthony Towns and OG Anunoby ready to put New York in an advantageous spot.

The Detroit Pistons are in a must-win situation when they host the New York Knicks in Game 4 of their seven-game NBA playoff series.

Sunday’s Knicks vs. Pistons props boast the second-highest total on the board, and that should benefit Karl-Anthony Towns, Malik Beasley, and OG Anunoby.

Read on for my NBA picks for Sunday, April 27.

Best Knicks vs Pistons props

  • Knicks Towns Over 1.5 made threes (-115)
  • Pistons Beasley Over 3.5 made threes (+135)
  • Knicks Anunoby Over 17.5 points (-110)

Knicks vs Pistons player props for April 27

Knicks Karl-Anthony Towns Over 1.5 made threes (-115 at bet365)

New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns is coming off a big night from downtown. The Knicks' offseason acquisition landed five of his nine attempts from downtown to lift New York to a 118-116 Game 3 victory over the Detroit Pistons. I expect the Knicks to give the big man from Kentucky the green light to fire away against a Detroit perimeter defense that surrendered 36% from long range during the regular season and 34% during this series.

Towns made 42% of his five attempts from downtown during the regular season, but is making only 38% during this series.

Friday’s massive night should give Towns the confidence to land at least two from long range on Sunday against Detroit.

Pistons Malik Beasley Over 3.5 made threes (+135 at bet365)

Detroit torched the Knicks for 41% from downtown in Game 3, and if they want to knot this series, Malik Beasley must go off from downtown.

Beasley has largely underwhelmed during this series, making only nine of his mostly wide-open 30 long-range attempts. His minutes have also taken a dip, and that’s not good for the Pistons.

The looks have been there, but since his Game 1, six of 12 long-range outburst, Beasley has gone an uncharacteristic three for 18 from beyond the arc.

Knocking down the triple is how he remains in the rotation, and we should expect Detroit to try to get their sixth man as many early opportunities as possible.

Beasley has knocked down 4+ triples in three of his previous five, and I expect a bounce-back night from the veteran chucker.

Knicks OG Anunoby Over 17.5 points (-110 at bet365)

Knicks forward OG Anunoby has slipped through the Pistons' defense from inside and outside the arc.

The veteran forward got whatever he wanted from inside and outside the arc in Game 3, which resulted in his second 20+ scoring night of this series against Detroit.

Detroit hasn’t been able to contain Anunoby from getting to his spots, and the Knicks forward has enjoyed plenty of wide-open looks from downtown against the Pistons' switch.

The Pistons' defense has been overly focused on stopping Jalen Brunson and Towns, and Beasley has been the beneficiary. Anunoby has scored 18+ points in six of his previous nine, and I like him to clear his scoring prop on Sunday.
