The Denver Nuggets appear to be in deep trouble with their thin roster falling apart vs. a deep and talented Los Angeles Clippers squad. Our NBA betting picks expect the Clippers to coast once more at home.

After two hard-fought games in Denver that came down to the wire, Game 3 of the Nuggets-Clippers series saw Los Angeles win in blowout fashion to take a 2-1 lead.

Nikola Jokic & Co. will be looking to bounce back in this spot, but my Nuggets vs. Clippers predictions and NBA picks for Saturday, April 26 do not see that happening.

Who will win Nuggets vs Clippers Game 4?

Many saw this series as a coin flip prior to Game 1, with some leaning on reigning MVP Nikola Jokic to carry a thin Nuggets lineup past the Clippers.

However, L.A.'s superior depth has made a noticeable difference thus far, and that showed itself in a 117-83 Game 3 thumping that saw the typically even-keeled Jokic melt down on the sideline.

The Clippers' moneyline would be a solid addition to any NBA parlays or playoff SGPs you have in mind today.

Nuggets vs Clippers prediction

My best bet: Clippers -6.5 (-115 at bet365)

Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray have made admirable efforts thus far this postseason, but they have just one home win by the skin of their teeth to show for it.

Jokic and Murray are the only two Denver Nuggets averaging 20+ points per game in the playoffs, with Aaron Gordon falling to 18.3 ppg following a back-to-back effort of 15 points or fewer after dropping 25 in Game 1.

The fall-off is steep after Gordon, with sixth man Russell Westbrook at 10.7 ppg and the pair of Michael Porter Jr. and Christian Braun at 8.3 ppg apiece. Westbrook (foot) is questionable tonight, while MPJ (shoulder) is a game-time decision for this one, which could shrink the bench for head coach David Adelman even further.

The deeper Denver goes into its reserves, the worse off they are. The same cannot be said for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Kawhi Leonard and James Harden have formed a solid one-two punch for L.A., while Norman Powell just dropped a series-high 20 points in Game 3.

Ivica Zubac has been rock-solid down low despite having to deal with Jokic, averaging 18.7 ppg. Gritty veterans Nicolas Batum and Kris Dunn have also provided some valuable minutes for head coach Tyronn Lue.

The Clippers have covered in all three games of this series so far, and have done so in seven of the last nine head-to-head meetings with Denver. This may be their most onerous spread yet, but L.A.'s relative health, combined with home-court advantage (31-11 SU this year), makes laying the 6.5 points a solid wager.

Nuggets vs Clippers same-game parlay

Clippers -6.5

Under 211.5

Christian Braun Under 12.5 points

If you've parlayed Clippers ATS and the Under in every game so far this series... let's just say the first round of beers is on you tonight.

I'm backing the Under to hit for the fourth straight Nuggets-Clippers game tonight, even with the total at its lowest point so far. Denver dropped just 83 points in Game 3, and with their overall health in decline, I can't see them doing enough to send this game Over.

Christian Braun shares some of the blame for the Nuggets' shortcomings thus far in this series. He's been held to single-digit points in two straight despite an increase in playing time, going below 12.5 points in all three Round 1 tilts.
