Norman Powell Over 22.5 points (-120 at bet365)
My analysis
Norman Powell has always been a solid player at the NBA level, but he’s just different in 2024-25. The UCLA product leads the Los Angeles Clippers in scoring, averaging a career-best 24 points per game. James Harden has a slightly higher usage rate, but Powell is putting up better numbers.
With Kawhi Leonard still ramping up his minutes and workload, Powell is getting all his opportunities to show out. To be honest, that probably won’t change, either way. The guard had cashed the Over in points in four straight before settling for 20 in Tuesday's loss to the rival Los Angeles Lakers.
In fact, he’s hit the Over in six of his last seven. Powell averaged 23.7 points in January and he always tends to play well in front of the home crowd at the Intuit Dome, averaging 24.1 points.
While it’s not worth looking at Powell’s numbers against the Indiana Pacers last season because he started just three games, it is important to note that Indiana is 20th in defensive rating and allows 24.9 points per contest to point guards. Its perimeter defense is nothing to write home about.
Powell is in line for another standout performance as he continues to shine.

Ivica Zubac Over 12.5 points
Tyrese Haliburton is averaging only 17.9 points after putting up over 20 across the last two campaigns. His struggles hit an all-time low on a brutal loss to the Trail Blazers on Tuesday, posting a goose egg in 25 minutes.
The guard has hit the Under in points in six of his last eight outings, finishing with single digits in another two of them. The Clippers boast a very strong defense (third in the Association) and are elite at guarding the perimeter, holding point guards to just 23.3 PPG overall.
Ivica Zubac is a huge piece of what the Clippers are building. Just like Powell, the big man is also enjoying a career campaign, averaging 15.1 points and 12.6 rebounds. We’ll focus on his dominance on the glass.
The Croatian has grabbed Over 12.5 boards just twice in his last five, but I’m eyeing this bet because of Indiana's poor rebounding and his past success against them. The Pacers are 19th in boards allowed and Zubac averaged 13.5 versus Indy last season.
