My favorite NBA picks for Monday, November 18 feature a Toronto Raptors guard who’s taken control of the offense, a new New York Knicks presence who’s been a dominant force in the paint, and an emerging Detroit Pistons star who can rack up counting stats with the best of them.

NBA player props for November 18
Prop bet #1: RJ Barrett Over 38.5 points + rebounds + assists
RJ Barrett cooked on Saturday in the Toronto Raptors' overtime loss to the Boston Celtics, posting 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 15 assists. The assists were a career-high, and Barrett compiled his first-ever triple-double.
However, this doesn't mean I’m chasing Barrett’s stats, as he’s been phenomenal with averages of 21.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 6.6 assists. All of those rates would be high points stretched over an entire season, and Barrett has taken on an expanded role as a scorer, rebounder, and facilitator for the short-handed Raptors.
In two games played with Immanuel Quickley this season, Barrett averaged 3.5 assists, but in the games played without him, Barrett has dished 7.3. He’s operating as Toronto’s floor general and go-to option on offense, and he should have no problem cashing this prop.
The Indiana Pacers allow the sixth-most points per game, and Toronto allows the fourth-most. The point total for this one is set at 235.5, and I expect this to be a high-scoring matchup.
Prop bet #2: Karl-Anthony Towns Over 37.5 points + rebounds
Karl-Anthony Towns was rolling before an injury sidelined him for Friday’s matchup with the Nets, but he returned for Sunday’s rematch and picked up right where he left off, finishing with 26 points and 15 boards.
On the season, the newest New York Knicks star is averaging a healthy 26.4 points and 12.4 rebounds, good for 38.8 PRAs. He’s hit the Over on this prop in six of 12 games this season, and five have come within the last six games.
Towns is on a heater, and there’s no way he’ll cool off Monday in a magnificent matchup with the Washington Wizards. The Wiz allow the seventh-most points and second-most rebounds to opponents, which will allow Towns to feast in the paint as both scorer and rebounder.
Prop bet #3: Cade Cunningham triple-double
I’m willing to go long on my final prop of the night with juicy, plus-money odds on Cade Cunningham to record a triple-double. Cade has been on fire over his last seven games with averages of 22.9 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 10.3 assists. He reeled off three straight triple-doubles and hadn't posted one in four straight until narrowly doing so against the Wizards on Sunday.
Over his last seven games, Cunningham has five games with double-digit assists. In each of the four games without a triple-double, he was within four counting stats of one, so it’s reasonable to expect him to cash this prop against the Chicago Bulls.
I’m not worried about Cunningham scoring 10 or more points, as he’s done so in every game this season. The Bulls allow the seventh-most rebounds and the most assists per game this season, giving Cunningham a tremendous matchup. I’ll throw some money on these long odds and swing for the fences.
