There are only five games on the NBA betting board tonight, but each matchup features a championship contender, which means plenty of superstars and loads of NBA player props to bet on.

While some of the best prop betting value comes from backing under-the-radar players, we've got our sights set on some of the biggest names in the game today, including a pair of future Hall of Fame point guards and an All-Star big man in Miami. Here are our best NBA prop picks for Thursday, November 4.

The Miami Heat are off to a fast start to the year and host the Boston Celtics as 7-point favorites tonight. Miami's Bam Adebayo is once again one of the league's most productive big men, and while his assists have dropped with the addition of Kyle Lowry, his rebounding numbers have improved.

Bam is third in the NBA with 13.8 rebounds per game and he's been very consistent, grabbing at least 13 boards in five of six games this season.

The Celtics have lost three of their last four games and have struggled on the boards, ranking 28th in the league in rebounding rate. Expect Adebayo to clean up on the boards once again and take the Over 10.5 on his rebounds total.

Pick: Bam Adebayo Over 10.5 rebounds (+100 at DraftKings)

Fewer things help inflate player stats more than playing at a fast pace, which leads to more possessions for both teams. The Houston Rockets play at the fastest pace in the league and head to Phoenix to take on the Suns tonight.

The Suns are dealing with a few key injuries, with Dario Saric out with an ACL tear, while point guard Cameron Payne and center DeAndre Ayton are questionable and didn't participate in five-on-five drills yesterday. That should mean another big night for the ageless Chris Paul who took over sole possession of third place on the NBA career assists list by dropping 18 dimes against the Pelicans on Tuesday.

Paul has posted double-digits in assists in five of six games this season and is averaging 11.8 assists per game. While there is a possibility that the Suns get up big early in this game and Paul doesn't log too many minutes, it's worth mentioning that this young Houston team has shown plenty of fight.

The Rockets are in a rebuilding year and are surrendering 110.6 points per game (23rd in the league) but they pushed the Lakers right until the buzzer on Tuesday night and have covered the spread in three of their last four contests.

PickChris Paul Over 9.5 assists (-130 on DraftKings)

Speaking of playing at a fast pace, the Los Angeles Lakers run at the second-fastest tempo in the league and host the Oklahoma City Thunder as massive 14-point favorites in the final game on the board tonight. After a shaky preseason and an ugly performance on opening night, L.A. guard Russell Westbrook is starting to find his groove with his new team.

Westbrook had just eight points, four assists, and five boards in the first game of the year, but has averaged 21 ppg, 8.1 apg, and 8 rpg in seven contests since. Lebron James is currently dealing with a sore ankle, and while he has been playing through it, he might let Westbrook carry more of the load tonight against an overmatched Thunder squad.

The Over/Under on Westbrook's points, rebounds, and assists total tonight is set at 35.5, a number he has surpassed in four of his last five games — including an outstanding performance against the Thunder last week when he racked up 20 points, 14 boards, and 13 assists.

PickRussell Westbrook Over 35.5 pts + rebs + asts (-115 at PointsBet)
