There are seven games on the slate today and lots of valuable NBA player props to bet on if you’re looking to make some money.

My best NBA picks for Saturday, December 7, are eyeing Darius Garland to show out against the Hornets, Bam Adebayo to pick apart the Suns with his underrated playmaking, and Nikola Jokic getting hot from long range against a brutal Wizards perimeter defense.

NBA player props for December 7

Prop bet #1: Darius Garland Over 18.5 points

-115 at bet365

After dealing with injuries and underperforming last season, Garland found his name in trade chatter all summer. However, the Cavs remained committed to the young guard and he’s proven his worth so far in 2024-25.

Garland is a huge reason Cleveland has an NBA-best 20-3 record. He’s averaging 20.5 points on 44% shooting from three-point land while only missing one game this season. The Vanderbilt product is playing with a ton of confidence and it’s showing in his numbers.

The 24-year-old has hit the Over in points in four of his last five appearances, pouring in 24 on Thursday evening in a statement win over the Nuggets. Back on November 17, Garland balled out for 25 points against Charlotte, who are still without LaMelo Ball and have one of the worst defensive ratings in the Association.

The Hornets are also allowing point guards to average 24.6 PPG this season. Garland should have no problems surpassing his 18.5 total this afternoon at the Spectrum Center.

Prop bet #2: Bam Adebayo Over 4.5 assists

-135 at bet365

Bam, the playmaker? You better believe it. While The Joker is known as the best passing big man in the league, Adebayo isn’t too bad himself. The center actually leads the Heat in assists with 5.0 per night, which is also a career-best. Bam has wonderful court vision and it’s really shown lately.

He’s comfortably hit the Over in dimes in seven games in a row, even dishing out 10 assists in back-to-back contests in late November. Adebayo truly makes everyone around him better, and his ability to pass the rock continues to improve each season.

Plus, Miami is facing a Suns team who are allowing the 10th most assists per game in the NBA. I expect Bam to facilitate at a high level at home. This bet has to be a lock.

Prop bet #3: Nikola Jokic Over 1.5 threes

-105 at bet365

Jokic is just putting up ridiculous numbers and looks well on his way to yet another MVP. There’s really nothing he can’t do, but the focus here will actually be on an area where The Joker has improved a ton in ‘24-25 – three-point shooting.

While the Serbian has always been able to shoot relatively well from downtown (a career 35.5% clip), he’s actually draining 50% of his triples this season, which is second in the Association. Jokic is also taking a career-high 4.2 threes per game with 2.1 makes, a career-best at the moment.

As you can see, his total is set quite low here – just 1.5. While Jokic was 0 for 3 against the Cavs the other night, he hit the Over in triples in seven consecutive outings before that. The Wizards are a mess, losing 16 straight. They also allow the third-most triples per contest in the league.

Jokic will drain a couple, at the very least, from beyond the arc tonight.
