We have a quiet Saturday in the NBA with just five games on deck, but we still have hundreds of betting markets to consider, thanks to the player props markets.

Today, my NBA prop picks are betting on  Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic and Brooklyn Nets big Day'Ron Sharpe to have a big impact on the boards while I'm also backing Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges to fill up the hoop.

Here are my best free NBA picks for February 22.

Best NBA player props today

NBA player props for February 22

Nikola Jokic Over 11.5 rebounds (+105 at bet365)

The Los Angeles Lakers are 20th in the NBA in rebounding rate, and that was with Anthony Davis and his 11.9 rebounds per game in the lineup for most of the season. With Davis traded away at the deadline, the Lakers are going to get killed on the glass down the stretch.

They'll get bossed inside tonight by Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic. The three-time MVP is third in the league with 12.7 rebounds per game, and he's coming off a 17-rebound performance against the Hornets on Thursday. He also pulled down 15 boards in his last game before the All-Star break.

Day'Ron Sharp Over 6.5 rebounds (-115 at bet365)

The Philadelphia 76ers are dead-last in the NBA in rebounding rate (46.9%). If you thought that Joel Embiid returning to the lineup would fix those issues on the boards you'd be disappointed with the Sixers rebounding rate sitting at just 44.5% this month.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn Nets backup big man Day'Ron Sharpe has been a force on the glass lately. He has pulled down at least nine boards in three straight games, which includes a February 12 clash against the 76ers, where he had nine rebounds in just 15 minutes.

Miles Bridges Over 20.5 points (-120 at bet365)

Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges has upped his scoring over the last month and a half. He has scored more than 20.5  points in 15 of his last 19 games.

He's averaging 22.9 ppg on 18.6 field goal attempts per game during that span, significantly higher than his 17.7 ppg on 15.3 FGA before. Bridges has been red-hot coming out of the break, scoring 29 points against the Lakers on Wednesday before exploding for 36 points in Denver on Thursday.

Expect Bridges to torch a Portland Trail Blazers squad that ranks 24th in the league in defensive rating.
