Best NBA Player Props Today for 11-27: Ball of Fire

LaMelo Ball's scoring prowess has been on full display of late, but Tom Oldfield's NBA player props are counting on him getting back to his typical pass-first style tonight.

If ever there was a night to dive into the NBA slate, it’s tonight — with 28 teams in action and pressure mounting for a few playoff contenders.

Start off with the 17-1 Cleveland Cavaliers against the rollercoaster Atlanta Hawks and stick around for a heavyweight Golden State Warriors vs. Oklahoma City Thunder matchup, with some big contests sandwiched in between.

We’ve got a boatload of NBA player props on offer here, and my three favorite NBA picks for the November 27 schedule are all carrying a heavy workload.

NBA player props for November 27

Prop bet #1: Scottie Barnes Over 27.5 points + assists

-110 at bet365

The Toronto Raptors keep finding ways to lose winnable games, but Scottie Barnes’ return from an eye injury has provided a boost at both ends of the floor.

Barnes is coming off a terrific performance in Detroit on Monday, finishing with 31 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists, and I’m grabbing the Over on his points + assists combo prop tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans.

With Immanuel Quickley still sidelined and Gradey Dick set to sit out again, the Raptors will run a lot of the offense through Barnes, and Darko Rajakovic continues to lean on him as the main scorer propping up bench units.

A repeat of his 26 shots on Monday might be a stretch, but Barnes is in line for heavy volume, and his minutes are climbing as his conditioning improves.

While this Over is largely dependent on Scottie’s scoring, he’s posted seven dimes in each of his last two games, and I don’t see New Orleans slowing him down here, even with Dejounte Murray in line to make his first appearance since breaking his hand in the season opener.

Prop bet #2: LaMelo Ball Over 7.5 assists

-110 at bet365

LaMelo Ball’s two-game scoring spree didn’t translate to wins for the Charlotte Hornets, but it’s certainly made him a hot commodity on the NBA player props market.

After dropping 50 points on the Milwaukee Bucks, followed by a 44-point effort against the Orlando Magic on Monday, it would be easy to jump on LaMelo’s points prop tonight against a Miami Heat team on the second night of a back-to-back set. But that O/U line has rocketed up, so I’m looking at his assists prop instead.

I don’t see Erik Spoelstra allowing Ball to pile up points, and that should shift the Hornets point guard into playmaking mode more often. Ball has tallied 26 dimes across his last three games, including a 10-assist day against the Bucks, and there should be enough scoring around him despite Miles Bridges and Grant Williams being sidelined.

This Over feels like good value for a player that’s averaged at least eight assists per game in his past two seasons, and there’s no doubt that he’ll have the ball in his hands on almost every possession when he’s on the court.

Prop bet #3: Nikola Jokic Over 12.5 rebounds

-120 at bet365

Michael Malone ripped into the Denver Nuggets’ effort after Monday’s 145-118 beatdown at the hands of the New York Knicks, and it would be no surprise to see an emphatic response tonight as Denver visits the four-win Utah Jazz.

It’s hard to point any fingers at Nikola Jokic, but he had a quiet night against the Knicks by his standards, and I see him leading by example here to get the Nuggets back on track.

That likely starts on the boards, where Jokic is leading the NBA with 13.4 rpg, and I’m taking the Over on this 12.5 O/U line.

Before Monday, he had finished with at least 13 rebounds in six of his prior seven games, including a vintage 23-20-16 triple-double against the Thunder and a 16-board effort against this Utah team on November 2.

I expect Jokic to get the better of Walker Kessler and Lauri Markkanen in that frontcourt battle, especially with the Jazz coming off a loss in San Antonio last night, but I’m counting on Utah to keep the score close enough that the three-time MVP plays his usual fourth-quarter minutes.
