With six teams on a bye in Week 12, the NFL betting board is down to just 13 games, but there are some excellent matchups, especially late in the week.

The entire NFC West is in tough, while the Chargers will be looking to duplicate Week 11's success against a pissed-off Baltimore Ravens side.

Join me as I break down the Week 12 slate and offer my best NFL picks against the spread.

Expert Week 12 ATS picks

Steelers vs Browns
Steelers Steelers -3.5

Playing back-to-back games in the division is always tough, but not when you got the Cleveland Browns in the second week. The Browns stink, and the Steelers should be able to limit an offense led by Jameis Winston

Cowboys vs Commanders
Cowboys Cowboys +10

Maybe I'm crazy, but the Commanders should not be laying this many points to anyone. This is a team that has dropped two straight and has not really shown the ability to separate against these bad teams with their last two wins coming by five and three points.

Buccaneers vs Giants
Buccaneers Buccaneers -5

Tommy DeVito? No thanks.

Chiefs vs Panthers
Chiefs Chiefs -11

The Kansas City Chiefs didn't exactly play their best last week vs. the Bills, so I'm expecting them to release some pent-up frustration on a very bad Carolina Panthers side. If the Chiefs can hit 28 (likely), they'll cover this spread.

Vikings vs Bears
Bears Bears +3

If the Vikings are so good, why are they laying just three points? They're on a three-game winning streak, taking on a Bears side who can't get out of their own way. Something doesn't add up. Give me the Bears outright.

Patriots vs Dolphins
Dolphins Dolphins -7

The Miami Dolphins are a completely different team with a healthy Tua Tagovailoa under center, and I expect the winning to continue against the Patriots. The Pats offense is among the worst in the league, and 24 points by the Dolphins should be enough to get the cover.

Titans vs Texans
Texans Texans -8.5

The Tennessee Titans are worse than the Dallas Cowboys yet they're catching the same amount of points. With Nico Collins back in the mix, this Texans offense should roll at home.

Lions vs Colts
Colts Colts +7.5

The Lions are a really good football team who can score points in bunches. However, some of their most sloppy games have come away from home. I'll take the Colts to keep it close.

Broncos vs Raiders
Broncos Broncos -5.5

I'm in no hurry to back the Raiders at less than a touchdown, and the Broncos are good at beating up on bad teams. Lay the points with Bo Nix & Co.

49ers vs Packers
Packers Packers -2.5

The San Francisco 49ers just look physically and mentally drained, and I believe the Packers will be able to move the ball up and down the field on them.

Cardinals vs Seahawks
Cardinals Cardinals +1

Good on the Seahawks for beating the 49ers, but the Cardinals are the better team, and the team is coming off their bye week. Give me the fresher team and the one with the slightly better defense.

Eagles vs Rams
Eagles Eagles -3

Besides the Lions, no team is hotter than the Eagles right now. They've won six on the trot, and the offense has been scoring points in bunches, topping at least 26 points in five of the six wins. The Rams, while decent on offense, don't have the defense needed to get the timely stops.

Ravens vs Chargers
Ravens Ravens -3

Derick Henry fumbled for the first time in over 400 carries, they had three total turnovers, Justin Tucker missed two field goals, and they only lost by two points. The Ravens will not be as sloppy here, and I don't see this Chargers defense being able to hold them down. Lay the field goal with the road team.
