It’s beginning to look a lot like… April?

The calendar may say it’s the middle of December, but NFL Week 15 weather is more spring than winter. Rain and wind are expected to plague plenty of outdoor venues this weekend.

I break down the football forecasts across the country, giving you the inside scoop on how the elements will impact outcomes and NFL odds.

Here’s the NFL Week 15 weather report.

Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers weather

Possible showers could show up for the start of Thursday Night Football.

The forecast for Santa Clara calls for a 46% chance of precipitation around this 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff, with those light showers clearing in the second half.

Wind won’t be much of a problem, with sustained breezes of 4 mph topping out at 10 mph, moving WSW at Levis’ Stadium.

This Over/Under is as high as 50 points after opening as low as 47.5 O/U, with the first-half total set at 24.5 points.

New York Jets at Jacksonville Jaguars weather

Depending on the forecast, we could see sustained winds of 13 mph blowing ENE at EverBank Stadium, with wind gusts up to 23 mph moving corner to corner. Other weather models aren’t as bullish on those breezes.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will have backup QB Mac Jones under center again. This Jacksonville passing attack shortens significantly with Trevor Lawrence out of action. Jones averages 8.1 intended air yards per attempt but his completed air yards sits at 4.1.

The Over/Under has bounced between 39.5 and 40.5 points since opening on Sunday night.

Dallas Cowboys at Carolina Panther weather

The Dallas Cowboys leave Jerry’s World for just the second time since Week 10, walking into a soggy Bank of America Stadium on Sunday.

Dallas has actually played outdoors only once since Week 9 and wet conditions are conducive to turnovers, especially fumbles. That’s an area where the Cowboys have simply sucked in 2024, fumbling 11 giveaways this season.

The forecast for Charlotte shows a 76% chance of light showers throughout this contest in Carolina, with sustained winds of 5 mph seeing gusts up to 20 mph blowing east from sideline to sideline.

This Over/Under has moved between 42.5 and 43.5 points all week. Dallas is 5-2 O/U at home but just 3-3 O/U on the road.

Kansas City Chiefs at Cleveland Browns weather

This is the notable weather game to note in Week 15.

We have a 70% chance of light rain throughout with temperatures in the mid-40s going to “feel like” mid-30s.

Cooling off the on-field temps are sustained winds of 17 mph, blowing SSE with wind gusts getting up to 30 mph and moving sideline to sideline at Huntington Bank Field.

The kicking has been questionable for both teams. Kansas City has the backup’s backup taking kicks, with Matthew Wright a lucky bounce away from being a Week 14 villain instead of the game-winning hero.

Cleveland Browns kicker Dustin Hopkins is the worst kicker in football and a 0-for-2 day Week 14 drops him to a league-worst 64% on FGAs.

Strong winds and wet football will also make it tough for the passing game, especially Cleveland QB Jameis Winston. He’s chucking it, with the third-highest intended air yards per pass but ranking second worst in on-target percentage. Winston has thrown six INTs in the last three games.

The Over/Under opened 43.5 and is up to 44.5 points.

Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans weather

Some weather models call for rain in the Nashville area around this 1 p.m. ET kickoff but those showers should clear in the first half – if they show up.

Wind could be a disruptor however, with some forecasts predicting sustained breezes of 15 mph hitting highs of 34 mph, blowing south from corner to corner at Nissan Stadium. Other weather monitors call for gusts of 21 mph.

Of course, the stronger winds could throw a wrench in the Cincinnati Bengals’ downfield attack. That said, Joe Burrow’s receivers are bigger threats after they catch the ball, as Cincinnati is among the top offenses in YAC.

This total opened at 47.5 O/U and is down to 46.5 points.
