It’s Tuesday but the NHL is dropping a massive 13-game slate with a ton of NHL player props and betting angles to sift through.

There are some stacks, some assist props, and power play points to sort through but tonight’s card is going to be a banger!

These are my three favorite NHL picks for Tuesday, January 14.

Today’s NHL prop picks and best bets

Prop bet #1: Adam Fantilli + Dmitri Voronkov + Kirill Marchenko + Travis Konecny + Owen Tippett + Morgan Frost Over 0.5 points each

+1600 at bet365

I love goals in Columbus tonight. It will feature two goalies, Daniil Tarasov and Ivan Fedotov, who both rank in the bottom 10 in the league in Goals Saved Above Expected (GSAx/60). The Philadelphia Flyers are on the second of a back-to-back after a 4-3 win vs. Florida last night and the Columbus Blue Jackets have the best home offense in hockey with their games on home ice averaging a league-high 7.51 total goals per game.

It’s also a spot with a double-triple stack as the top line in Columbus of Adam Fantilli, Dmitri Voronkov, and Kirill Marchenko play 5-on-5 together and on the first power play while the top line for the Flyers also fully correlates with Travis Konecny, Owen Tippett, and Morgan Frost.

Alone, these triple stacks are worth a bet with the Blue Jackets' one priced at +225 and the Flyers’ at +400, however, combined the best price is +1,600 for the double-triple.

This game is going to have two-way scoring. The Blue Jackets are coming off a 2-1 win over the Blues, but that top-line stack cashed and the goalie in that game, Jet Greaves, has been sent down to the AHL. Hit the Over 6.5 with confidence, but I’ll also be putting a half-unit on this double-triple at +1,600.

Prop bet #2: Dougie Hamilton Over 0.5 assists

+150 at bet365

The Florida Panthers will be playing their second game in as many nights and turning to backup Spencer Knight who watched last night but will turn his .864 save percentage since December 1 loose vs. the New Jersey Devils.

The Devils have cooled off of late, playing .500 hockey over the last 10 games with just one regulation win in its last seven games. However, Dougie Hamilton has quietly put together a great stretch of 10 games where he has collected an assist in all but three of them.

He is +150 at bet365 for a helper today and should see his usual 20 minutes of ice time after a slight dip in time on ice in November. He is QB-ing the first power play that faces a PK that has allowed seven goals over the last five games and multi-PP goals in three of its last five matches. The Flyers generated four assists from the blue line last night in their 4-3 win over the Panthers and it’s Hamilton’s turn to keep the streaking apples flowing.

Prop bet #3: Moritz Seider o0.5 power-play points

+260 at bet365

The Detroit Red Wings are running red-hot having won seven straight games and their power play has done a lot of heavy lifting. Over those seven wins, Detroit is 13-for-25 with the man advantage and has recorded multi-PP goals in five of its last six games.

To make matters even better, the Wings are getting an elite PP matchup today vs. the San Jose Sharks who have the third-worst PK over the last 30 days at 67%. Not to pile on, the Sharks are going with Alex Georgiev in net which is a big boost for the Wings as the weaker goalie owns a .884 save percentage since December 1.

It’s the perfect spot to hit some PP1 props from the Red Wings and I’m landing on the highest of all the odds and the PP QB in Moritz Seider at +260. The defender has 13 points over his last 15 games and is coming off a 2-point game (both on the PP). He has six power-play points since Todd McLellan took over eight games ago.
