Old Dominion +3
Got this one back on Dec 3 (post #2) before all of the portal news. WKU relies heavily on the pass, so missing their QB, best WR and 3 starters on the OL doesn't help their situation. But I liked ODU before the opt outs. The better running team with the better D and have played a tougher schedule. Would I play ODU now after a 9.5 point swing? Absolutely NOT! Unlike those deadbeat running dogs Cal, ODU has done well for me this season. They have won 7 games ATS. But keep in mind that NONE of their wins came by more than 7 points. So with a line change it's now it's a play them at your own risk game. The key is to get these early lines when playing the running dogs, because with teams like ODU who average just 350 ypg on offense, there's usually very little room for error...Good luck!

By the way, not only did ODU outrush WKU 196 to 73, they won turnovers 5-1. WOW! It just goes to show how no system is perfect. The running dogs are a little over a 60% system, with the other 40% the results of teams who get two field goals blocked, tries a 47 yard FG that falls well short, so later tries another 47 yard FG expecting different results (blocked)...doh! Our next Running Dog comes up Friday with Northern Illinois. That line has been pretty erratic, opening at NIU -2.5 and going back and forth from zero. It looks like it's settled at NIU +2.5. So far the Running Dogs are 3-1-1 in the bowls, with the running dogs with the better defense going 3-0-1.

In retrospect, I should have hit WKU +6.5 for a half unit. I would have at least won a half a unit instead of pushing. Plus it seems like most of these big line moves in the bowls never come to fruition. Hell, I should have put $20 on WKU ML when they were down 28-0. LOL! But last time I checked I wasn't THAT big of a degenerate...or a clairvoyant.

@DrStrangelove
I wish there were no playoffs. The pre-BCS system would have given us undefeated Michigan and Washington in the Rose Bowl. I’d be fine with that. No real way to determine a number one in a 132 team league. The attempt soils the sport.

I can’t believe ODU lost. Crazy comeback…no lead is safe lol.
The ref bumping into the coordinator on the ODU side line at the end to get a 15 yard penalty, putting them within the 10 yard line. I’ve never seen that

South Florida +3.5
Playing this one small since USF has no defense to speak of. But they do average around 460 ypg on offense, which always gets my attention with these dogs. Especially ones with a mobile QB against a Cuse already team missing a few pieces..

The Running Dogs swept the board yesterday and are now 5-1-1 ATS. The running dogs with the better defense are 5-0-1 with the lone blemish being that odd game with WKU/Old Dominion. The Actual Running Dogs are 8-1-1 so far. Yesterday Georgia St was a monster running dog (386-159). NIU (189-101). AF wasn't technically a running dog, but they were the biggest monster of them all with a 351-26 rushing advantage. So in the 3 games that I bet, my teams outrushed their opponents 926-286...WOW! I wish I could get them to do that every week. But, the opt outs are tricky and having to deal with some of these knucklehead coaches can be even worse.. I came very close to playing Duke. They were a borderline running dog but didn't quite qualify. I should have bet it anyway on principal alone with a G5 team giving a touchdown an 8 win Power 5 team with a good defense. That one I let slip by me.
