Rico - My thought on the Boise total is the Boise run D is a brick wall and when they make someone one dimensional - it is often ugly - Hawaii qb an upgrade but inconsistent....Hawaii D seems to be fighting for it every game - you may be right but I think the over might be a bit risky - don't let me talk you off of it - What I like in your favor is that Boise has their mojo back and may go SPANK CITY on Hawaii. no play for me but GL

Pecador. Any time you take UMass and an under below 60 I think it is a bit risky b/c their D is horrible and they have a really good QB. Just my 2 cents - have NOT looked at that one yet - and you always find some nice ones - that is just my initial read would want to look at it some more - bad weather would help....Sorry man just not sure. GL !

Lakerzyou guys are nuts. ....I will have analysis on the Clemson game but right now think that is the toughest game our staff has looked at so far just two very good teams and coaches. We will take a look at the Col St Utah St game. GL

Purdue had a decent showing last wk yet another example of how nowadays - the true freshman qb and redshirt freshman qb is not an automatic fade - talent is talent - and you at least have to respect the potential until you see them in at least a game or two....Blough did an admiral job imo I know BG D is nothing special but he played a strong game and threw for over 300Y...Of course the Purdue coaching staff did one of our personal favorites when playing an explosive team at HOME and an UNDERDOG...Tie game -early on- at their 2 yard line - 4th down - HEY LETS GO FOR A FIELD GOAL !! Those THREE points will be SO USEFUL against Bowling Green ! Let's phrase it this way - A) make the FG - who cares you lose B) miss the FG - who cares you lose C) try for a TD you might actually win....So this miss the 19 yard FG - 1 minute later - Shocker - Bowling Green has a TD.....Well done coach !!

Michigan St still does not look right to us - we know it is early - but when is the last time their offense was ranked 93 and D 77 ? And their OL beat up.

Summary - lean Purdue at 21 or higher. No take on total.

Penn St 25 Army (47)

Line is pretty high due to Q status of Army QB and a bunch of OL....That makes it an automatic no play on the Army side - we HAVE seen their other options at QB and not good.....One thing for you Sparkies out there to keep in mind on Penn St - they played good D against last wk - allowed only 242Y - yes soft competition - but still pretty good - one SD TD was a KO RET td....But they only ran for 72Y ??? QB Hackenberg did most of the damage wtf this was a week after Penn St running game rolled over Rutgers and the vaunted S Alabama run game plowed over SD St ? If you can follow that logic you are smarter than us.

Ya its funny - it is always such a personal thing. Sometimes you have a good feel - other guys do not - and vice versa. Just the way the games match up to our numbers basically felt like a late season card where the numbers are super tight - yet we are still only in wk 5.

Line looks about where it should be IMO....Nebraska has been in the middle of some exciting games and if they are not careful - this might be another one....Husker QB is just playing so well do not think he is getting enough attention and the balance on offense is pretty good - but the Husker D?? Yikes...Think Illinois will also be able to MATRICUALATE in the passing game and run the ball....Now we have not done our usual deep diligence on this one yet - Just peeked at the injury report and Husker spark plug Pierson-El may be back?? listed as Q...hmmm

Summary. No lean on side. Lean to over and on our short list....Need to do a bit more digging and check weather forecast.

The spread seems a bit low - but here is the thing - Keeton has not been the same at QB for Utah St since his injury bug issues and Kent Myers did very well last yr - first start was 14/15 vs Hawaii then 13/16 vs Wyoming etc etc...and he can run the ball as well as MATRICULATE so the QB downgrade to us is NOT a downgrade....Problem? Do not see the complimentary weapons like the past couple of years and the pass rush just a notch down too...Col St has already played 2 OT games and one 2 pt game although their schedule is rated #138 by Sagarin and Utah St rated #12 due to games vs Utah and Washington.....Utah St ranked #126 in offense and while we feel the QB change is a wash - and that their D will play ok - points seem like a premium here. Total seems about right.

Summary. No lean. If we had to make a correct prediction or leave Covers forever we would go Utah St -4 due to the superior D and better HC (in our view) and perceived line value - We just are not sure enough to recommend it fully.
