Wow. I did miss a lot.
Exactly! You would also think Jesus could throw a better spiral, read coverages quicker and anticipate wide receiver breaks. I defy anyone to give me a quality answer to this.

Well of course there is elementary sound logic to my statements that ...."from nothing comes nothing...because something can't come from nothing while from something can come something else"... which I can't understand why you have an inability to believe it or doubt it or have skepticism. The only way to make you understand is to give you an illustration.
Suppose I said to you, "Here's enough money and a list of supplies I want you to purchase at the hardware store because I'm going to build myself a work table." You then proceed to go to the hardware store and later on you return with nothing. You tell me you couldn't purchase anything because the hardware store was closed. So I tell you, "Well because you brought back nothing I cannot start building my work table so nothing will be done today." So this is where the simple logic of from nothing comes nothing...are you following me so far my friend?...lol
Then the next day, you go to the hardware store when they open and purchase all the materials I listed and bring it back to me. I then begin to build my work table and eventually it is finished. So this is where from something can come something else. The work table was designed and built from materials that were purchased from the hardware store. Before it became a work table it was just materials, I had to design and build it to create a work table from the materials that were purchased. So from something (which includes you, me, money and the materials) came something else (work table).
Is this very simple illustration opening your mind just a tad? Or is that stubborn mind of yours incapable of understanding simple elementary logic? So once again..."from nothing comes nothing..because something can't come from nothing while from something can come something else."
Lastly, you are wrong in saying there is no such thing as free will. If you believe that then you must be some kind of puppet or something...lol
So who is pulling your strings?...lol I know for myself that no one is pulling my strings to do things. I can decide on my own on what I want to do because I have free will. I can do things that are righteous or I can do things that are wrong or evil. I can honestly say lately I have been doing things that are righteous...thank the Lord Almighty!!

The "10 Commandments" were written by an ancient mindset. People are naturally "wayward" and self-interested. It takes power to force them to do something against their own self-interest (for us, it is working for wages). For those whose interest is in controlling them, it is often deemed necessary to have laws they must obey--and scare them to death with them--such as obeying the sabbath, having coital relations with another married person, disrespecting "god" by claiming to speak for him, be his son, and so on.
Why don't you see this?
The Ten Commandments were given to Moses by God as a guide to help people live a happy and righteous life. It was not designed to scare people to death. Let's just look at one of the commandments..."Thou shalt not commit adultery"
Now I'm going to assume you're a married man and you yourself are faithful and happily married. Supposing someone comes along and has sexual relations with your wife, not even caring that she was married to you.
You eventually find out about her infidelity and that it had been going on for quite sometime. How would you react to this? I know for some people it ends up with murder or bitter divorce proceedings or someone getting physically hurt real bad just total misery for all parties.
Nobody is happy anymore, there is nothing but misery, from adultery it escalates to murder, bodily harm, or divorce.
Now supposing you and your wife are very faithful to each other because both of you truly love each other. Both of you will never be miserable in respect to your matrimonial vows, both of you will always be happy with one another. You both instinctly have obeyed God's commandment of "Thou shalt not commit adultery"
So this is just one example of how misery can enter one's life by disobeying and breaking one of God's Ten Commandments or how happiness and tranquility can enter ones's life by obeying and following one of God's Ten Commandments.
So these commandments should be really viewed as being good for the people's own sake, knowing that obeying and following the commandments brings happiness and tranquility while disobeying and breaking the commandments brings misery and despair.

WOW, Some of the stances atheists need to take to defend their position is outrageous....
Like
Things popping into existence from nothing in this natural world,
Moral relativism,
Commandments like thou shall not murder are "outdated"...

Sometimes it takes time for these atheist to see the light. For their sake I just hope they don't take too long. They are just in denial of the truth, they are kinda like hoarders.
Everyone will see that the hoarder has a problem but the hoarder will not see it...they are in denial that they have a hoarding problem even while it is staring them in the face.

Well said.
I wouldnt say that it is arguing, i would say that the believers are more defending.
You will see the atheists are starting the threads attacking religion, God etc, for no reason, it is our responsibility to defend.

Atheists are cowards?? Really?? I would say that since according to you all atheists face a life in hell that athiests are anything but cowards. Cowardly is excepting what you know is not certain. You may try to tell yourself it's certain, but we all know nobody truly knows. I personally consider myself a realist and not an atheist, christian, etc. I am just being true to myself. If I had any real evidence to prove the existence of god and Jesus as our savior I would gladly and excitedly dive into religion. Fact is though, I haven't seen anything to change my mind and common sense says a lot of what you speak is nonsense.

I actually did go to church for awhile at one point and what astounded me was the amount of hypocrites. It was/is actually pretty astounding.

I wouldn't say atheists or believers are cowards, we all have our personal reasons why we believe or don't believe.
You speak of having no real evidence...what real evidence do you need? Do you want God to personally appear to you and perform a few miracles for you to believe?
Look around you, are you blind not to see any kind of evidence? Just nature itself should make you ponder how did all these things begin to exist. How amazing that our own sun, according to scientists, has already been in existence for approx 4.57 billion years and is expected to have an overall life expectancy of 10 billion years.
It is fascinating mind-boggling stuff. The sun has been regarded by some cultures as a deity but of course we Christians believe that the creation of the sun and everything else in existence was created by Almighty God.
Then there is the Holy Bible as another piece of evidence of the existence of God. You have to give yourself a chance to believe by reading the bible, it is a very fascinating, inspirational, powerful book to say the least.
I don't know about you but when I die, I don't want my consciousness to die, I want to dwell and be with God Almighty in His Kingdom of Heaven for all eternity with other people who are also saved.
I enjoy my life and want more of it, I want eternal life that Almighty God has promised us believers He will give us if we accept His only begotten Son Jesus Christ Our Lord Savior who died on the cross for us and if we repent our pass sins. What a gracious gift to receive from Him! There is no gift here on earth that could even remotely come close and compare with His awesome gift!
Like most people who are curious, I have questions I want to ask our Lord God and knowing that I will have all eternity, I'm sure He will find some time to answer me.
No, I refuse to be a non-believer, who see nothing to look forward to after their deaths here on earth, who believe there is absolutely nothing after death but death itself with no more consciousness, just total non-existence nothing...how sad indeed to believe in nothing!
How meaningless it would be to have lived life here on earth in the 1st place.
No, I just can't accept that and believe that...that's just pure non-sense, I choose to be a believer in Almighty God the Creator of the universe and everything else in existence....Amen!

Right, a life long Christian that mocked Christianity in his classrooms and tried to debunk the bible?
Dr. Simon Greenleaf was a skeptic from Harvard law school who wrote three volumes on the laws of legal evidence, and mocked Christians in his law classes. But he was challenged by Christian students to apply his own book to the resurrection of Jesus. Taking the challenge, he concluded that the evidence was so convincing, he became a believer. He later wrote, "The resurrection of Jesus is one of the best established facts of history."

Some here are saying Tim Tebow is Jesus. Some people believe in him and try to point to wins because they are in the book, but the smart money is on that he is a fraud and ultimately will be found to not be able to back up what he preaches.
