On phily plus 11 tonight. Philly is much better than they were earlier in the year. They started 0-17 but have gone 7-12 since and have held four straight opponents under 100 pts going 3-1 in that stretch. This is a different game then the first meeting. Bennett Salvatore referee tonight home team is 5-3 in his games and an average margin of 4.4 points a game total 201.
11 to much at home. Good value on philly with 11 at home.
The 76ers are on the verge of a season-best third consecutive win after squeaking by Indiana 93-92 on Saturday. Tony Wroten scored a team-high 20 points off the bench and Michael Carter-Williams delivered a go-ahead finger roll with 9.9 seconds left.
Philadelphia shot 11 of 24 from long distance while limiting the Pacers to 4 of 18.
"They're shooting the ball better and they're just growing," Pacers coach Frank Vogel said. "You can see they're putting in the work. Coach (Brett) Brown is doing a great job with them and they're improving, both in their play and their confidence."
The 76ers held Indiana to 33.3 percent from the floor to match their lowest mark allowed since Nov. 8, 2013. They've surrendered an average of 92.3 points in their last four games and have come a long way since opening 0-17.
"We try to stay pretty grounded and understand what we're all about and what our purpose is," Brown said. "(The 0-17 start) does seem a while ago. Whether what we've done lately has erased that stat, that fact from people's minds, I don't know."
Philadelphia has won two of three at home after opening 0-14 on its own court.

Brooklyn, Indiana and an Irving/Lebron less Cavs make for 3 of the worst offenses in the league. Those 3 also play a completely different style of ball. You are in for a rude awakening if you think they will have the same defensive success against the Hawks. I wouldn't count on them making 11 of 24 3 pointers either. That stat really helps back my TT Under play. Philly averages 29.9% from 3. They shot 46% and scored 33 points from 3 against Indiana and still only finished with 93 points.

Your off on your research but its ok you will see. Home teams are averaging 103 pts a game in Salavtores games. Average total score of 201 points in his games this year. Under over opened at 195.5 and has jumped up to 197 nothing really points to this being a low scoring game although im just on philly +11.

Still looking at the game with no bet but some lean to Philadelphia based on Atlanta record as an 8.5 or great fav which is 1-5 ATS this season and 1-9 ATS coming back a little.

They covered as a 13 pt favorite against Philly earlier this year. That's the only one you should be looking at.

The research is spot on but that doesn't make any play a guarantee. The 76ers could shoot well tonight and go over the team total. I think the odds of them continuing to struggle, in the halfcourt, against a very good team defense are greater.
As far as Philly's defense being improved, they played 3 good offensive teams (GSW, Phx, LAC) just before the 4 you mentioned and they allowed 122 pts per game. There has been no improvement in Philly's defense.

Maybe but in that game Philadelphia was on 3 days rest and they have never covered a spread on 3 days rest while they stink on 2 days rest they do have a cover and at Killersports they had a 9-0 trend up supporting Philadelphia today. I actually have no intention of betting Philadelphia if you are on the other side as there are so many ways of looking at this but if you do not play Atlanta I will take Philadelphia for a small bet. Bravo man. Great stuff here, I check every time the Hawks have a game. I know I will catch some drama from people on here but I actually caught the Hawks at 100-1 for $200 to win the East very early in the season. Definitely was a bad line by my local, most other places had it around 40-1 at the time. So I am very much a fan of them this year.
Question: The under for this game has jumped to 200.5 here at the M Resort where I am staying in Vegas. Yet I noticed the TT for 76ers is still at 92.5 (-115). Why do you think the line is climbing? I took the game under at 197 (sucks). Since you like the TT for 76ers under, what do you think of the game total under at 200.5?
Thanks man. Keep up the great work

I just don't see how any one can be confident in backing the 76ers tonight. The Hawks played very poorly on offense in the first matchup and they still won by 16. I will be shocked if the Hawks don't hit 100 tonight.
Philly's last 8 losses have all been by 16 points or more. In the last month, they have lost at home to Bos by 18, Char by 18, Milw by 20.

I'm kicking myself for betting early today now. 5dimes has just bumped the 76ers TT to 94. I'm not scared of the line movement and will buy in more with an inflated line.

Teague Millsap and Carroll were all just listed as out tonight. The Hawks will be starting Schroder/Korver/Thabo/Muscala/Horford.
I just made the following plays to buy out of some of my bets.
76ers +6 1st Half MEDIUM.
The bench are very capable defenders and they should be hungry to play well with the extra minutes. Thabo and Bazemore can still do a great job on Wroten/McDaniels. For these reasons, I am going to stand by the 76ers Team Total Under plays with only a small buyout.

The 76ers started out 5/8 from 3 and they are a 29.9% 3 pt shooting team. They have cooled off and are 0/5 since then. They cant score inside and are 7/23 from 2. This one should be a walk in the park.

The 2nd half play ended up being a loser but I would play it 10 out of 10 times. Didn't expect Schroder to sit the entire 4th. The bench players were also way too eager to pad their stats. Had several offensive rebounds and they forced putback attempts instead of kicking it out, running clock and looking for a better shot. 76ers hit 4 3's in the 4th and the play still only loses because of a b.s. foul call at the end of the game and the FTs knocked the 76ers over the total.
Sh it happens.

The refs called a ton of soft fouls at the end. I didn't see any contact on that last play and the Hawks would have dribbled it out if the foul wasn't called. That one hurt.

The Hawks are in the middle of a 4 game in 5 night stretch, which are all road games, and they have Toronto and Chicago on the back end of this stretch. It looks like Bud is gearing up for these two contests after resting Teague/Carroll/Millsap/Antic last night.
I would think that at least 2 of Korver/Thabo/Horford/Brand will rest tonight. Horford is probably the best candidate for rest.

Just a heads up for the Boston game tonight.
We will likely see more players rest tonight.

Understanding the game and the players/teams matchups within the game will always be a better measure than line movement and ref assignments.

Screw it. I'm jumping on this play now but will add more once I see the lineups.
Atlanta vs Boston
-Boston's team total is 99 tonight which is crazy if you ask me. Since the Rondo trade, they have only beat this number, in regulation, one time. It was int heir last game against the Pelicans and Jae Crowder scored 22 points. The Celtics also scored 26 points from the FT line. The Pelicans are 20th in the league in opponents points per game at 101.0.
-The Hawks are now second in the league in opponents points per game at 96.9 per game. They allowed an outstanding 93.04 points per game since their slow start during the first 13 games.
-The first game between these two teams was a tale of two halves. The Celtics scored 108 with 66 coming in the first half. Bud made adjustments at the half and the Celtics offense grinded to a halt. They were only able to score 39 in the second half. Bud put Korver on Rondo in the 4th quarter and Korver completely shut him down. Rondo and Green both played big parts as Rondo contributed 19 assists and Green had 25 points. The Celtics were also unconscious from 3 and hit 12/23 for 53%.
The Celtics are going to have to shoot lights out to reach this total tonight.
I will likely make this a large play once I see the final lineups.

I noticed a typo in the last paragraph. The Celitcs scored 105 in the first matchup. I incorrectly wrote 108.
-I would also add that the Celtics have been struggling mightily from 3 since Rondo left. This would make sense since Rondo is great at feeding players in good spots. In 6 games without Rondo, the Celtics have shot 41/129 from 3 for 31.7%. It is highly unlikely that they replicate their 12/25 performance from game 1.

I dont know man.I mean the hawks cant continue to play good d all year all the games. There will be letdown spots or they wont last until playoffs...this one could be one of them,it s a game they wont care about after all. Or do you think they will wait to rest until all star break?
