Now they gotta go to London and play an angry jets team... I am almost sure to fade the Dolphins again and again and again.. They might just Lane Kiffin Joe philbin and not even let him on the plane back from London... The book is out on them... I actually prefer they keep him, so we know to keep fading them.. I hate to hate, but sorry not sorry... This team is hot garbage with maggots on top.. Anyone who doesn't believe me is just an old fashioned loser...

I have a friend who is always drinking the cool aid as well on tannyhill.. There is a reason he took 6/90 millions, he won't get anymore than that from anyone else... I was never sold on him, now I know it even more... You should hear the things they are saying about the fins on the radio, they have literally kwit on JOE, they don't respect him and they don't wanna play for him..

Players don't buy into the coaching staff. It's that simple. Kevin Coyle said in his presser something like "they were play max protection and throwing underneath and we couldn't figure it out". The dc needs to get his head out of his a.ss. Not fit to be a coach at this level calling plays.

A loss is a loss and hate it when the Dolphins lose but I took losing to the Jags harder than losing to the Bills. Although they are division rivals which makes it a tougher loss the Bills have a pretty solid team. I wanted the win but wasn't surprised that they loss. I expected the win against the Jags that's why it hurt more.

 Dolphins looked unmotivated, stupid penalties are killing them, the o-line is just plain terrible, the defense can't seem to stop the run at all this season, and the coaching staff just seems clueless. All these things should of been taken cared of in the off season...I know you can't foresee injuries but the staff should of picked up better depth players...like I stated earlier McCain can't cover anybody! The staff need to go out and find someone that can or start giving others a chance to play cause if McCain is the best chance they got...the loses will just keep on piling up. Anybody know how Tony Lippett is doing? can he start at corner?

Win or lose I'm still a true fan but C'mon on Dolphins wake da hell up!!!!!!!!!

I know the London game is early for the fans on the Mainland but I live in Hawaii so that London game is even earlier for us. If I'm not mistaken it's like 3:30am...I am not waking up that early to watch the fins get their arse kicked again so I'm hoping to wake up this Sunday to a Dolphins victory.

I was listening on the radio and they talked about how you could see the players have already tuned out Philbin.  I believe it was right after an interception was thrown for a pick six.  He's telling the players to hurry off the field and all 4 players casually walked as slow as possible, not even caring at all.  Then he added a comment about how they need leadership but said it as if he knew the team has none. 

I doubt the players would quit on the season already because that'd be idiotic but it sounds like they sure as hell have quit on listening to the coach at all.

Just caught the replay of the Miami game last week. 

Just an absolutely BRUTAL showing. This coaching staff really has to go. Completely unprepared for a Rex Ryan defense....and Philbin has been in a division with Rex now for 3+ years and those guys were clueless in how to protect their QB from a defense everyone knew was coming. I'm sure Tannahill is getting killed by the media and he does deserve a little blame, but this is a flat out TEAM effort of stinking so far this year and it all starts with Philbin. I know I might be sounding like a broken record(I rip him every chance I get), but man he has to go. Too much TALENT on that roster to suck like this. 

When was the last time you turned on a Miami game and they were up 14-0 or 10-0 early?? I'm not a stat freak but I'll eat a plate of cat$hit if this isn't a team who isn't jumped on at least 75% of their games in the Philbin era. Every single game they are down 7-0, 10-0, 14-3, 14-6 early in games and when there's talent and when they gut out a lot of those games.....it HAS to be coaching that's the difference.

With all that said, overreacting after THREE weeks of football is never the way to look at things. Look at this time last year in the NFL and then look at who played in the Super Bowl. This time last year, Brady was an old man who was done, Billicjevk was a coach who hadn't won a SB in a decade, and Seattle had "chinks in the armor" after they started the season a little slow after arguably the most dominant performance for a team since the 2000 Ravens as they closed out 2013. 

So the Fins could go to London and gut this game out. Gonna be a tough game as the Jets have looked pretty good with the exception of the first half in the Philly game. Usually I don't like byes this early in a season, but man, they can use it. Gets Albert back healthy, maybe Pouncey could be ready by week 6. Let's these young skill players gel a bit more in that offense. And then come back to the Titans and I think the Texans.....so it's possible they can win both of those and be 4-2.

The ONLY thing giving me hope right now is this.

- Last year they started out 1-2 and in both of those losses they looked completely out of it and non competitive. (30-10 vs Buffalo and 34-14 vs KC I believe the scores were) then like I said they were 1 play away from being 6-2 and beat SD 37-0. So I am by no means giving up this season but I am disgusted by what I saw last week. That was the ugliest game I've seen Miami play since their 1-15 season.

- The Dolphins are 6-3 overall in games played with Brandon Albert. Obviously the Dolphins have more questions than just O-line (cough cough Brice Mccain) but O-line is a huge problem without Albert. Huge problem.

Thats about all I got right now. To answer your question Glyde, the only times last year I remember Miami starting really fast was vs SD (which that game felt like a dream) and vs Baltimore where they were up 10-0 and ended up losing 30-17 or something. Good point though they never start fast. Beyond frustrating.

On a side note, did anyone else see Jimmy Wilson get super-stiff armed on that long 50 yard Adrian Peterson TD run? That was by far the highlight of my sunday. Frustrated that we may have a Jimmy Wilson clone in Mccain though. I refuse to go back and re-watch last weeks game but wow was the tackeling absolutely pathetic. Jamar Taylor looked like he was playing 2 hand touch on one of Buffalo's long TD runs to go up 41-14.

Also another reason I really like Rex Ryan is even though the Bills were up 27-8 when the Bills made a mistake he was flipping out like the score was 0-0. This is the kind of coach I want because this is the type of coach I would be. Paying attention to extremely small detail is the difference between winning and losing. I am all about screaming at your players when you are ahead, and being the nice guy when you are losing trying to motivate. Rex Ryan is just a great coach with fire and I love that. How great is it that he also called plays late in the game so former Fins players could embarrass Miami like Chris Hogan.

Also, how nice is Charles Clay? Why would you ever let that guy go. Really wish they had brought him back

Compared to Aaron Rodgers he isn't. Compared to the rest of the NFL he is.

What is the number one way to stop elite QBs like Manning, brady or Brees? GET PRESSURE. Not much a QB can do when he is on the ground before you count to 3. The fact he is still alive and 51/51 in career starts means he is probably the toughest QB on the planet.

I have to agree here Tannehill isn't a good qb he is maybe average at best.  THe DOlphins look like garbage again this year like they do every year.  They got Suh and paid their qb top money and yet they still lost to the Jags how sad.

Even though I hated him as the Jets coach I would of welcomed him in open arms if he went to Miami.

Clay was a huge loss and hated to see him go...their is a glimmer of light with Jordan Cameron so I'm hoping he starts shinning soon.

This Dolphins offense seems so night and day from pre-season. The starting unit gave me hope during the preseason that this could be a solid year. Seems like the offensive game plan totally changed during the regular season...could be just me nit picking but not the same type of offense I seen during the preseason with the starters.

Maybe Miami was looking ahead to this London game..could be a possibility ..Miami 17th on strength of schedule which should not be too bad it's still early in the season the jags caught them by surprise before a divisional game and it was just a bad spot for Miami against the bills with back to back divisional game and traveling to London but I actually think this is a good spot for Miami against the jets on a neutral field you also have to admit AFC east has gotten a little stronger obviously not speaking about the patriots ...also feel like Miami will be ready for the Bills week 8.. I'm sure it's circled on the calendar I can actually see a 3 game win streak against jets,Titans,Texans,until they meet up with the patriots in week 7@New England ...tough thing about Miami is there first half schedule has two back to back weeks where they play division rivals also including the trip to London week 4... Ryan tannehil will get it done in London ..

(Dolphins +2, vs Jets)

Pretty simple.

No Albert. No bet.

The Dolphins are 6-3 with Albert, and 3-7 without Albert...and 2 of the 3 games they lost with Albert he admittedly played really bad. The other was a last second loss to GB. With Albert, they can compete and beat anyone. Without Albert they can be beaten by anyone.

Funny how similar the Dolphins are to last year, and how obvious Joe Philbin must go. He is my post in my Dolphins thread last year when the Dolphins were 1-2 and going to London to play Oakland.

 

Miami Dolphins (-4) vs Oakland Raiders

There isn't much to say about this game except it reminds me of an old time WWF match, pink slip on a pole match. If Miami or Oakland lose this game in an embarrassing manner, It is a very strong possibility the head coach is fired. Man, that is a lot pressure for one game

How Joe Philbin has survived 12 months from that post is pretty shocking to me considering Dolphins went 6-6 after that game. With another season quickly slipping away I think Joe Philbin is in the same position. I'm not saying he gets fired if Miami plays decent and loses by 3-7 points but if Miami gets blown out sunday Philbin could easily be gone. Pretty important game for Philbin and the Dolphins, to say the least. I will not be betting on the spread this game. If there was a gun to my head I'd take the Jets though, with a small lean on the under. Don't like either enough to bet on it though. The only thing I'm betting in this game is more Jarvis Landry props. I expect Parker to play a lot sunday and I think he will draw Revis a lot. Landry lines up in the slot and I don't think he will be on Revis often.

That's funny u mentioned that . thought the same thing. Deja vu all over

1-2 again and travelling to London. Team issues abound.  Last season the talk was Philbin had to win in London or he was he was going to get fired the next day plus there were rumored tension between Philbin and Tannehill on the coach planning to bench his QB. They go on to beat a hapless Raider squad and all was good in Dolphin land. This season the drama is now on Suh and the defensive coach and their underperforming defense. 

Now I haven't heard anything about that this game will be for Philbin's job but with the way things may be heading I would not be surprised if it is Philbin ,  not Jay Gruden(the popular consensus) who will be the first coach to get fired this season. too many expectations in Miami and all that grossly overpaid money spent. They brought in players that don't care about team, Suh being one of them. Good athlete but man they should have known his antics by now, he hurts his team. Who cares about winning or what the coaches say when they are livin it up in South Beach with all the money and b!tches

Wonder why the line dropped though. The only advantage the Dolphins have in this game is prep time and being here in London before. Don't know how much this will affect the Jets. I'm laying off this game.

Up until last year, Rodgers was getting sacked 40-50 times a year and had about 1 second to throw the ball...and he was still putting up great numbers....

The O-Line is not the only reason...Tannehill does not have what it takes to get to the next level as a NFL QB

He isn't close to Aaron Rodgers, not many are. Look how average guys like Romo, Flacco, Brees, Rivers, Stafford, LUCK, all look when they get pressure.

Andrew Luck is a perfect example. He looks terrible with a bad O-line. That has been Ryan Tannehill his whole career except for a 4 game stretch last year before Albert got hurt. Shocker Tannehill was 4-1 with like 10 TDs / 3ints and should have been 5-0.

Its not rocket science. If your o-line is bad your QB will look average unless you are Aaron Rodgers. When given even an ounce of time, Tannehill lights it up and will continue to do so.

Let's call a spade a spade. You're overestimating how bad the line is if you are blaming it as the main reason for Tannehills ineptness. Go back and watch the tape and I promise you it is right around league average. A great qb would still be great. An average qb would still be average. 

For whatever reason he is scared to open up and throw the ball down field and when he does the accuracy is poor. The plays are called and he has to execute. If it is 3-15 and a 4 yrd route is the safest throw thats where the ball is going. It's obvious he is just not comfortable doing it.

Miami +110/Under 42 parlay...Gonna be a brutal game for the English to watch, but dolphins eek this one out 20-17.

Last comment on the subject.....but in the 1st qtr just now, Tannehill missed 4 easy throws that had nothing to do with the O-line

If this game continues like it's been going, I don't see how you keep Philbin as HC.
