Great write-up...a lot of food for thought here! All that you have written seems correct...the momentum as you mention is all with the Colts as they have the hot hand...
I have way more questions than answers and after my bad beat last week with Baltimore, I had to eat a lot of humble pie and step back.

Everything about the Colts has been overrated. Both their defense and offense. On the other end the KC defense, especially at home, has been underrated.
If you conclude the Texans were a joke of a contender than you also need to conclude the Colts are the same. Both teams played the easiest schedule this season and both were able to string together a 9-10 game winning streak. LOL.
Now you look at the KC Chiefs who out of all the playoff teams had the toughest schedule and yet STILL put up historic offensive numbers. At the same time, their defense had to face the best of the best and got shredded, mainly on the road. In fact, every single major offensive team the Chiefs faced, they faced on the road. Is it any wonder why their defensive rankings are so terrible?
Berry seems to be out now so that will be a blow especially in the running game, but I still believe the Chiefs defense will contain this overrated Colts offense to under 25 pts.
Then we have to look at Luck and the Colts and how they play outdoors, on grass, in the cold. Simply put they are terrible. It was no surprise that they got shut out to the garbage Jags 6-0. Luck was horrid and so was TY Hilton.
You add in the intensity of Arrowhead, especially this season? No shot in heck of coming out of this game unscathed is Luck. That OL is built for inside dome, quiet crowd. Andy will be pressured big time on Saturday and unlike Mahomes, Andy does not handle pressure very well.
Simply put after looking into this game I am going all-in on the Chiefs covering 6 and team total over 31. Colts fake defense hasn't played any of the top offenses all season and when they faced the Pats they got crushed. On the flip side, the Chiefs have routinely faced the top defenses at any given point in the season and Mahomes and the offense was always unstoppable.
This game as many believe will be a close shootout will be anything but. Easiest game to cap. Indy has literally zero advantage here. The only advantage they had was their superior OL but on the road against the superior DL of the Chiefs, it will be a wash at the most.
And Watkins if he truly plays the entire game will be a MAJOR factor. People think Hunt's absence caused the offense to sputter near the end of the season but Watkins was a much bigger effect in the passing game. With Watkins, Colts will get ate up by Mahomes all day long. The Colts 2 deep safeties will get burned by either Watkins of Hill. But 100% will Kelce will do damage.
I honestly cannot believe anyone would put money on the Colts. How can someone cap this game, look at all the data and actually put money on the Colts?
Seriously recency bias is strong here for the public. Meanwhile, the Colts are as fake as the Texans. They are mirrored. Now imagine those same fake Texans going on the road into Arrowhead against the second-best offense OF ALL TIME!! What is wrong with you Colts backers? I just don't get it...I really don't...

^ohh and since those years, defenses have only become softer, and easier to beat.......anyone thinking the Chiefs will lose on Saturday is just well bloody irresponsible.

Let's look at a QB playing his first season and putting up the 2nd greatest QB numbers of all time......then compare him to a bunch of inferior players to prove a terrible point.

Did you see the stats above about what happens to the best offensive teams the last 20 years?? They all go to the Superbowl........much less lose to the garbage overrated Colts in the divisional round.
I just can't understand at all......
Colts backers are literally fighting against history here.

People. The Chiefs are a complete outlier this season as is Mahomes. Anyone that stands in front of this train will get ran over. All the numbers suggest the Chiefs will at the very least make it to the Superbowl. To think the Colts of all teams will walk into Arrowhead, the team that got shut out against a Cody Kessler led Jags team......wow just wow.....clueless beyond reproach.

Skewed stats. Colts had the easiest schedule in the entire league. Texans had the 2nd easiest schedule. GUess which team was hotter after the Colts? Yup, the garbage Texans. Meanwhile, the Chiefs are the only playoff team that played a top 10 hardest schedule and yet they still got the number 1 seed and lost only 4 games, 3 of those by a combined 7 points and 3 of those 4 losses on the road......they would be undefeated if they played the Colts schedule and the Colts would be under .500 if they played the Chiefs.

Wow so much wrong here. No, we cannot forget that Jags embarrassment because it proves my point. Luck and Colts play worse on the road and outdoors.
Again my main points are that the Colts defense is 100% overrated because they played no good offenses. How can anyone Colts backer defend this???
At the same time my main points are that the Chiefs defense is better than numbers suggest since they have played a ton of good offensive teams, the majority on the road and to top it off they historically great offense forces them to play often and get little rest on the bench. Is it any wonder the Chiefs defense gives up a lot of yards? How can any Colts backer deny these facts?
You claim the Chief's offense has to play flawlessly? Newsflash, unlike the Colts that is all they have done all season long, every single game. They have played the top defenses multiple times and never have been stopped once. That is why I bring up the Colts 0-6 goose egg because unlike the Colts the chiefs are on a different level offensively.
Your "gameplan" for the Colts was the gameplan for every single team every single week. Ask any Chiefs fan. Every single week better defenses than the Colts said the exact same thing. Keep Mahomes on the bench, bla bla bla. The irony is that it will be the Colts who have to score every drive and play flawlessly or they will get blown out.
Mahomes is way, way, way better QB than Luck. Mahomes doesn't make mistakes or play reckless, leave that to Luck with his INTs. I guarantee you Luck has more turnovers than Mahomes and Mahomes doesn't throw a single INT. Mahomes is more accurate, has a stronger arm and can play in any elements. Luck stinks outdoors.
The fact you said Mahomes will throw an INT proves how little you follow the best offense since 2013. Luck threw more INTs even though he played inferior defenses.
Another thing you clearly haven't factored in. Colts play 2 deep zone majority of their snaps. There is ZERO chance Mahomes throws a pick.....zero. Mahomes is too accurate against this type of defense. Against zone coverages, he is 14:0 TD to INT ratio. He will shred the Colts fake defense apart especially if Sammy Watkins is playing.
