Never heard of this. Very common in Vegas to bet twice on the same team to avoid collecting over $10,000.

Sports book managers will even advise you to do it.

The most I bet on one game in Vegas was $7700, nobody blinked an eye and they did not know me.

 and before I left the counter the line moved half a point so money moved the line not being a sharp. The money was close enough to moving the line that my bet pushed it over.

I would make 2 bets at $5000 each to avoid going over $10,000. I bet $5000 a number of times without any issues

As for Vegas, CG Technology used to be the best.  They ran them out of town.  Put one guy under criminal investigation for going back-and-forth with the East Coast.  Shame, they were FANTASTIC, THE best.  Allowed you to bet.

Each book is different.  Don't think this book is bad, they all are-or vice-versa.  You gotta learn each book's style, and go with it.

Last time I was around Vegas, the best book was MGM and Caesars.  Will Hill is cool with small wagers.  You have to recognize when i say MGM that means all MGM properties-Mirage, Mandalay, pyramid, on and on.  Caesars-caesars, ballys, on and on.  They usually have the same rules-but you'd be surprised one book may be different.

MGM, Caesars, Will Hill-those are the best imo.

Hilton/Westgate used to be cool.  They started limiting on small bets-I was like wtf man.  If you don't want to take bets, go to h ell as a bookmaker.

Downtown is a waste of time-books are small.  Unless you bet small.

Everything I can say now can be old news-go to Vegas and figure out the current status.

It's all trial and error-go to the window and get a "feel" for these guys, are they open or sobs.

FanDuel and DraftKings are too early for me to have an opinion on them yet.  PointsBet Circa.

Great news now is sports wagering is all over the country-there's competition.  They're going to COMPETE for you guys' bets instead of Vegas hogging it all.

main thing is ca$h-doesn't matter where you bet as long as you're ahead.  AND you're not in trouble for any reason.

as for $10k yeah that's an issue.

 There will be no chance to tail it. They refused the 10k because the line was supposed to be down. After a long wait, they accepted $5000 and immediately took the line down.

All on video. I'm up $3200 at the tables. 

The Browns are ravaged by injuries. They are only 3-3 now. They are not going to win 11 games.

Couple things:

-i expect the book has you on notice.  If you win they may lower your limit.  If you lose you're fine.  The more you win the more they may limit you.  Be careful about it.

-10k is important.  By having it under 10k it doesn't go to that trafficking law or whatever it is where they gotta report.  They may ve doing it for tgat reason, good guys don't want to limit you.  Based on what they said they got a bad line out there and it'll be heavily juiced or lower # wins after it comes back.  Books hate injuries possibly making their lines less legit.  Fear of the unknown.

-you don't have to do this of course.  You can just bet per game, bet the browns to lose.

 Hey Crusher. I agree. Mayfield is the future of this team and this year is shot. I expect he will be out soon. MGM made a big mistake having this up still. That's why I didn't want to reveal the bet yesterday. First decent size bet they got it was either coming down or being adjusted heavily. It was good of them to let me get down 5 k. I didn't want to be a jerk and try demanding the full 10k. It wouldn't have worked out well anyway. I'm dead Ass up almost 5 k at the tables and I'm about done.
