He is allowed to have them and has 10 to 12 years to classify them... vp does not have this authority.   And if he was, leave it unsecured but in a locked garage with a beautiful corvette.  

Trump is no longer president and must return documents to government.  Now Biden is president with executive privileges.  He is entitled to view and classify government documents.  Only National archives can keep documents forever.
