Georgia grand jury sworn in

Atlanta CNN —

The Georgia grand jury that is expected to consider charges
against former President Donald Trump and his Republican
allies  for trying to overturn the 2020 election was sworn in
Tuesday after a three-hour selection process in Atlanta.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis launched the investigation
in early 2021 after Trump tried to overturn his defeat in the Peach
State with a public and private pressure campaign targeting Georgia
election officials, the governor, lawmakers and prosecutors.

I hope it’s a fair jury that is full of his peers 

nothing better than justice for people that got it coming to them

A special grand jury previously heard testimony from 75 witnesses,
including Trump advisers, his former attorneys, White House aides,
and Georgia officials.
That panel issued a redacted report with charging recommendations,
which will soon be weighed by the new grand jury, potentially
as soon as next month.

New reports surfacing that the boss of the Trump Crime Family has raised over $250 million from really gullible donors to fight the fraud for an alleged stolen election.  Legal analysts are saying raising money based on a lie is  a class felony for "wire fraud" and may result in new charges!

True but I think this is already assumed.  The trick is proving what is widely believed and if  it is proven will there be a trump-cult moron on that jury.

about to be criminally indicted for a historic 3rd time.
   If it was anyone else he would ALREADY be in prison!
The DOJ and Special Counsel have been more than fair
to an obvious criminal.

But he still returned it to the National Archives!

The top-secret document that former President Donald Trump
discussed at a 2021 meeting at his New Jersey golf club was
included in the 15 boxes returned to the National Archives in
January of last year, according to a source familiar with the matter.

But Trump had denied it was real on FOX NEWS!!!

Trump was charged Thursday
with retaining the classified document, described as
a “presentation concerning military activity in a foreign country.”

No doubt he will be asked many questions about trump and his 3rd criminal indictment!

The guilty leader of the GOP entered a plea of not guilty.

While I expect the trial will be interesting I already know the result.

At least one MAGA cult loyal goosestepper will follow Trump's standard and simply lie his ass off during jury selection in order to get selected.  Then ignore all the evidence and testimony during deliberations and automatically vote against the unanimous wishes of all the eleven others. 

Hung jury.

By law, Trump is then acquitted.

Trump goes on an epic victory tour claiming he has been vindicated because the prosecution doesn't have a case, and he was totally innocent all along, as proven by the verdict!

No a hung jury isnt Aquital it is a mis trial.

Meaning the state can move forward to another trial or let the matter rest.

An Aquitaine is not guilty and the state can't retry the case ever. No double jeopardy in the United States.  . Supreme Court eroded many rights given in the constitution. It's all so whatever now...but the law states a fair and speedy trial a right to remain silent and that the case will be tried once unless a hung jury is reached that is a mistrial. 

But today's world ... those officials don't support the constitution...they are the law and wr don't have a justice system we have an excellent capture and hold in prison system....

You're right but I mean Trump will use his lying talking points to tell his ignorant masses he has been 'acquitted' and therefore completely vindicated.

The point is i would bet huge there will be a hung jury
