Trump’s insistence that the election was stained by fraud is giving many senior Republicans nightmares as they try to rebound from his overwhelming loss in 2020 and work through their collective disappointment at the lack of a “red wave” in the November’s midterms.
As Georgia GOP Gov. Brian Kemp put it on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday, the ex-president is forcing his party to keep looking in the rearview mirror and severely hampering its effort to look to the future.

Public media outlets are quitting twitter because of false labeling that undermine their credibility by suggesting government controlled media. Despite some government funding, there has always been editorial independence in National public radio, Public broadcasting service, Canadian broadcasting corporation, British broadcasting corporation and Voice of America. Unlike state interest, public interest is more about accountability and freedom of speech. Public media outlets don't want to be labelled "state affiliated" or 'government funded" such as propaganda outlets from China and Russia.

@fubah2
Kemp is far from being alone on this. Obviously Fox News shares the same opinion, along with many others in the House, Senate and many state legislatures

A former Fox News producer who claims the right-wing network pressured her to give false testimony escalated her own lawsuit against the company, adding CEO Suzanne Scott as defendant and accusing Fox’s lawyers of deleting messages from her phone.
In explosive lawsuits filed last month, Abby Grossberg claimed Fox lawyers bullied her into protecting the network and its on-air personalities in her deposition for the Dominion Voting Systems’ case.
Grossberg now accuses Scott of being complicit in the alleged coercion, according to her amended lawsuit.
The network fired Grossberg after she initiated the litigation.

Sure. Their so called "credibility" has long since been tarnished already but the public exposure of all the lying by their primetime anchors just underscores it and their total lack of integrity!

This thread is based on fact and is newsworthy. No amount of MAGAs deflecting to Hunter is going to change that.
After Fox News’ $787.5 million surrender to Dominion for fraud and repeatedly lying was announced, Smartmatic attorney J. Erik Connolly released a statement"
“Dominion’s litigation exposed some of the misconduct and damage caused by Fox’s disinformation campaign. Smartmatic will expose the rest,” Connolly said.
“Smartmatic remains committed to clearing its name, recouping the significant damage done to the company, and holding Fox accountable for undermining democracy.”

this whole notion that you can not depend on the world's top 100 newspapers to get your basic news info is frankly bizarre and scary. "I don't trust the New York Times" so I'll go to newsmax or OAN is frankly LOL.. or somewhere much much worse. I'm talking basic news (like what DJT or Joe Biden actually said)... not the op-ed page.... and not CNN or Fox News. neither is a news organization. they are the TV equivalent of talk radio. anyway, wake up and give your head a shake........ and BTW, a regulated Twitter or Facebook would have kicked these people to the curb two years... I can't believe someone who lies over and over again every day would want government regulation.

Twitter experiments with changes to verification have led to chaos. Now harder for users to determine an account's authenticity. Twitter verification may not confirm an account is who it claims to be. Instead it indicates a user paid subscription for twitter service.
