I fell asleep and missed the whole 2nd game. Passed out right after Ice Cube rocked the stadium. Woke up hours later to hear Randy Newman's "I love LA". Must have been that martini. Let's get 'em tonight!

LAD had a lot of scoring situations, men LOB, long balls at the fence and the NYY had some great defensive plays (Edman too but don't forget he tanked a few times).

This is one of situations where LAD could have easily won without extra innings.

Just sayin' I don't consider this a lucky win for FG OV, LAD TT OV and LAD ticket cashers.

Last night was supposed to be the pitchers duel - and it was.

And it went over.

But...

lots of long balls to the fence, lot of stranded runners on 2nd and 3rd, some amazing defensive plays and was a nail biter til the bitter end.

Tonight with Rodon facing Yamamoto there is a much better chance of game 2 not being a pitchers duel.
