you're pick and writeup moved from from going small to going medium/above average on this one. So thank you for the write-up.

Why lay -17 or 16.5 next week when you can lay -14 this week?
I agree with this pick. I was at the Miami game and Morris's decision making is so awful even with time, its amazing this kid won some award at the Manning Academy this summer.
Best of luck with your wager. |

My gut tells me RJ will be all over a home dog tonight in NCAAF. |

This line / game stinks of buying 1 team at its highs and selling another at its lows to me. UNC is more then capable of hanging around in this game, let alone winning. Miami really a top 10 team in your eyes? UNC been a huge disappointment, but the talent is there. Talent tends to shine best when its off a bye, big nationally televised game, huge underdog role, at home. Throw out the ECU game. That was a flat spot between GTECH and VTECH and Heels didn't even show up. That won't be the case tonight. UNC probably has more NFL talent on its roster then Miami. How can you play Miami tonight at this number? |

tough place to play for your first true road game at night. I have had zona st circled for a while in this spot but was hoping for -3.

Welcome back to posting boom boom. Hope to see you around in August.
I disagree with Butler. They are a vastly overrated team. This years team is nothing close to the previous teams that made a run in the tourney.

FSU is in a great spot tonight. Kadji is questionable, Miami just beat a team they hardly ever beat in UNC, which means something. And Miami is ranked the highest they have ever been. So situationally this sets up well and that is one reason the line isn't 7.5. On the other side, FSU is a shell of their former selves. They don't have the depth from last year nor the confidence. This team doesn't have the defense which is what got them all those tough wins last year. Going undefeated is hard in the ACC historically although many ACC fans would say the league is as sh!tty as its ever been, so comparing 2002 season vs 2013 means nothing. |

No point in even discussing it until the actual field is set. Your current Final Four could conceivably be 1,2,3,4 in the same region.

nc st in a monster sandwich and the style change from wake (fast) and unc (faster) to virginia (snail pace) will drive em nuts. NC St not a well disciplined team so if the shot aint falling here excect it to be a long night. UVA deserves to be favored here.

you gotta be kidding. NYC is almost easier to find action in then Vegas man! Go to any sportsbar in midtown during a decent game and you'll get 5 references in 20 minutes if you play it cool.

I have children. I mentally said same thing when 1st came around. The thing is, your baby doesn't need you much the first year, in fact, you'll be up at weird times of the night if you feed. Some of my most profitable months ever were when I was feeding the baby at 11 pm, then 2 am. Its easy to mute a tv at 11 pm while giving a baby a bottle and watching santa clara / st mary's.
But i hear ya. I shut it down April to late August every year as well so I have balance. Best of luck.

Skins play at 4:30 pm EST, not 1 pm EST. So the west team traveling east as far as a situational angle goes is much less important for a later game.
And second, its just my own pet peeve, but when someone posts best play of the year, you should never have to buy a point. It shows you feel the game is a tossup and there is a good chance it falls on the number. BIG PLAYS should be when you final outcome is a big difference from the spread which means buying a point shouldn't even be a thought. Best of luck today.

you'll understand what NROPP is about around mid january when he starts rolling like he does every year. This guy has made many a large amount of bank in conference season. My local almost shut me off last year after I took Mercer for a few dimes on his 10*. Like the above poster said, read his insights and he'll give you ideas here and there about teams and the tendencies of those teams and if you can cap a game yourself, it will give you future plays. Betting in December hoops isn't easy. Most juice out in December if you play every day.

This UNC team was expecting Kendall Marshall to be a 4yr player. Not having him this year is going to cost them several games, including this one. Paige wasn't ready to be a starter out of the gate.
