Yeah, I mean he still had 3 timeouts at least a couple shots into the end zone would probably make more sense before doing that

did they really kick a fg with under 2 min with all 3 timeouts?

I know I don't see any betting odds for Baylor, which seem odd because I don't think they are completely eliminated, give a scenario where the top 3 teams win out, oklahoma losses to them, alabama losses to Auburn, Utah losses to Oregon, Georgia loses to LSU.....
Will they really continue to punish them for their out of conference schedule as a 1 loss Big 12 Champion, over 2 loss teams that didn't win their Conferences except Oregon? I know it's unlikely it plays out this way, but I for one am rooting for it, sprinkle in that playoff chaos to prove even having more than 4 teams doesn't make it all that exciting. Any thoughts?

Keep in mind we had to watch the horrible playoffs of last year where warriors almost swept everyone minus a pity cavs win...and the cavs swept everyone to the finals minus a blown game to the celtics....I don't know how anybody can co-sign this basketball we are stuck with...I wish we get some contraction or space the stars out better

Aside from the cavs single handle working as almost the only favorite that does not want to cover. It has been pretty much favorites and home teams. Is there any reason to believe this changes as we continue seeing bigger spreads for road teams? It seems like we are going back to an era where teams can't steal road wins when they count the most aside from the top teams. Looks like the west likely going to be decided in less than 5 in both series. Can't trust celtics to steal a road game so once the 76ers do that series should wrap up too. Sucks that the only other time equipped to steal road victories looks like they should have went home a long time ago without lebron.....no lies this is just an awful nba playoff to experience. What does it say when the only safe underdogs you can play are home dogs playing the big bad teams finally getting points and with them being pity wins at best.

Is he confirmed to play tonight? The pelicans are for sure surging if he plays I think this is an auto-bet. Not to mention Nets have been fade material.

Doubleup, I am curious how you are reading this nebraska ohio state game. I sometimes feel the 17 point lines are more or less traps on the dog. I have a hard time seeing Nebraska not trying to possess the ball and are more than capable of a backdoor not sure why the line keeps pushing up. Curious to see what your thoughts are on this? Hopefully its another week of barking dogs had my best week of the season. Don't feel bad about wake I was on the same boat as you.

But this is what the forum should be used for reasons why we like or don't like a game. Whether we make the same picks or not the sharing of knowledge and ideas is key to helping us win. Seeing from other perspective can help us make a better decision. Going with that statement, I think you are right on with this game the opening line looked right and I don't understand the line movement to me its nebraska or no play. If it hits 20-21 I consider that a nice gift like the 6 extra points i got with northwestern made me feel great about that bet last week. |

But like you said too many people pretending to be sharps only helping the public cash on games that I'm sure Vegas would like to set higher. If not for the so-called sharps I don't think Vegas would have mind -9 or -10 on patriots to avoid teaser action. People forget too that these so called professional sharps probably only hit at 53-55 percent lifetime. It's hard to go 60 percent all the time. Scal has an impressive percentage but he is being super selective when he counts it towards his record and that is why he is able to maintain that percentage and is always a wise read. |

I don't post much, but I like when you post. As you truly bring information that can be used for betting. I think you are right on the money on this game. I know "sharps" will say play the let down spot but not every time is it a let down. I didn't follow your Purdue bet last week because although Penn State was due for the let down I didn't think Purdue had the capability to make them pay and I think in this game its the same line of thinking. Utah State couldn't get up to play San Diego State not sure how invested they will be this week to do it on the road. Might be a square play but I would rather lose on Wyoming in this spot catching a low line. Thanks for putting up the information or might not have noticed.

Add rockets to teams that blew first half wins

I wonder if anybody has done a bit of researching on the difference betting a full game and just 1st half bet. I win games betting full, but I feel overall I don't get alot of comebacks on teams losing 1st half but when I bet full games especially as spreads get bigger I get alot of 2nd half backdoors to occur that would have been 1st half winners such as wizards tonight. I wonder what percent of winning 1st half wagers were also winning full game wagers. I feel like I have to sweat more winners than I should by betting full games and I 'm sure there are others who feel that way especially if you bet cavs as they seem to cover 1st half well but give away full game covers or the spurs who seem to blow everyone out in the 2nd half. Any thoughts much appreciated, would like to get a good solid discussion going as I am sure people have thought this too and have lost on the same issue. Appreciate all responses, I think this is something to think about for all bettors.

Long time reader/follower but rarely post. But I figure I would drop a helpful opinion. When I was watching the Michigan St game a buddy of mine said the same thing about letting them score, but I told him 2 minutes with 3 timeouts it is a bit early to let someone score especially with fumbles and epic 4 down stands or the chance of a holding penalty be called.
It was just one of those situations where neither team can stop the clock. I am sure Mich St thought about not letting clock run off so much and try to score faster in case they didn't so they could have 3 timeouts with the potential to get the ball back if they couldn't score from the 1. As their win over Michigan proved having some time left is important |

Keep the picks coming. |

But the name of this game is picking winners and he is good at that, so to troll when he is ahead with a good record this year is just stupid of the covers community. We are losing out on winning picks and insight. Wouldn't be much of an issue if Boom was more respectful and just stayed away from those taunting him. |

Boom is a good capper and should be valued for such, but I never understood how you can complain about trolls if it is as simple as not reading and not caring. I hope you keep posting and stop reading any hate you get man it is a waste of time to respond or read it. They are trolls for a reason.
