After September I was thinking I might be on pace for my best year ever.   I couldn’t lose.  I think I was 70% college + pro plays.   AND I was getting chewed up with bad beats! 

Last 6 weeks, cannot buy a win.  It doesn’t help I’m an underdog heavy kind of capper, and chalk was on a 5 week 49-20 kind of insane run covering before last week.     

Then last week.   I finally said to myself “I can’t just keep plugging away when fav are 10-4 every week and I went with a more chalky card…..and favorites went 1-8 through the 1pm games.  

So hang tough.   It’s a strange year….chalk covering almost 60%.   Complete opposite of the usual in the NFL.   Keep plugging and a look to get even by new years and a strong playoff run will wash out the taste of a bad start.  

If even one desperate 19 year old kid reads this retard bullshit and takes a beating….its a disgrace.

Smart going 1st half.   I want to say they were up 38-0 last week in the 4th.

1st half avoids whatever THAT was.   Whether just a glitch in the matrix or ECU found the recipe for beating army……

Either way Air Force gets overwhelmed early and turn the game off at 1:30pm.

It’s about the challenge for me.   I don’t bet a lot, so maybe that’s why it’s almost secondary for me.   But I’m more into beating the bookie.   Of getting the best line.   Of waking up Monday morning 5-1 on a Sunday.   

When I retire I am renting a house in Vegas and I’m giving it a go as a pro.  Maybe 5k a game.  150k-200k goal by Super Bowl.    Maybe betting that kind of money will change my thoughts on money being secondary at this point…..

If it’s a rare losing season, I’ll eat it.   If I win but don’t hit my goal, maybe I’ll at least make enough to pay for the house I rented.  

If I enjoyed that life.   Living in the sportbooks every weekend.  Bring a part of all the local contests etc etc.  And I’m blessed to win and hit my goal…..rinse and repeat and head back next Sept as well.  

if the pressure of betting that much money beats me up.  Or I choke and have that rare nightmare season THAT year.   Or maybe the dream of being a part of Vegas turns out to be sleazy and I’m surrounded by scumbags…..then one year and out and I can say I tried it.

I’ll give some the play.  Have a tough beat.   One of those games it’s 24 to 11 FD.   456 yards to 282.   Up 24-7 at half and just a terrible late beat.  Right side but wrong outcome.   And I’ll be more upset I gave a friend a loser than the 100 bucks I lost.

Disagree on Texans game though.  I think Buffalo is smarting from a prime time mauling, so they should be extra fired up.  Houston has one statistical advantage to jump on(their running game against Buffalos d- line) but will that running game be able to get going??

I’ve never seen a team before who runs on 1st.  Then 2nd and long.   FALSE START.   Then ok we have CJ, let’s pick up 10-15…..NOPE RUN ON 2nd and long.   Over and over.   Poor Stroud is stuck in so many 3rd and 10s…..then his line is holding, false starts, illegal downfield.   Coaching is subpar too (not that McDermott isn’t an idiot in real time).    So I think I’m on bills or bills teased up to 8 at the least….
