After spending a few minutes browsing through this forum today, it feels like for every 1 post of a Celtics -7.5 bet there are 10 posts with a Heat +8 bet. According to @johnewing on Twitter who does Data for MGM, only 18% of the money is on the Celtics spread thus far.

@dubz4dummyz Home teams in Game 1 after winning a series that went six or more games have gone 30-11 to the over since the 2009-10 season, including last night’s game flying way over. |

Brother I get your angle but do you recall the 2017-2018 Celtics roster for the playoffs? You’re acting like Lebron beat a juggernaut team in that game 7 in Boston. Celtics had guys like Semi Ojeleye, Guershon Yabusele and Shane Larkin playing important minutes during that playoff run |

Don Juan has usually teased us with his pick by now. I’m starting to worry about the OG a bit. |

@crazy1464 You’re reading too much into it. The Milwaukee Bucks were -300 series favorites after beating Boston game 5 to go up 3-2. So -350 looks ok considering GS would host a theoretical game 7. Nothing fishy |

@JimmyGape Yeah? How so? I’m open to hearing why. Coming in here and calling it a garbage pick with no reasons as to why you feel that way actually makes me like my Celtics pick even more. |

@Mcmanus I’m probably in the minority with this opinion but I really think game 7 vs the Heat was a bigger game for them after coming up short at home in Game 6. Very similar situation to the one they’re in now. |

@Mcmanus The 1 was an OT loss in Toronto without Tatum, Brown, Horford or Robert Williams. |

Just spent 15 minutes looking through different threads here seeing where people’s head are at when it comes down to betting on tonight’s game. 1 thing I have noticed is that mostly everyone coming in here saying Warriors -4 really has no reason as to why. Outside of this game being played in the Bay (GS is 8-3 ATS at home this postseason - but just 1-1 this series) what trends give the advantage to GS or has you betting them in this spot tonight? Mostly every trend points to Celtics +4 being the play tonight: The Celtics are 7-0 straight-up and against the spread following a loss this postseason covering by a margin of 14 ppg 7-2 straight up after committing 15 or more turnovers in the playoffs, 4-0 after committing 17 or more 4-0 after shooting 40% or worse from the field Celtics are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 vs the Warriors and have covered in 9 of their last 11 road games versus Golden State The Warriors, meanwhile, are just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games following a win The last five NBA Finals Game 5 home teams/favorites have failed to cover their point With all that being said the 1 stat that would scare me as a Boston backer tonight is 4-11, that’s the Celtics record ATS in playoffs games that Tony Brothers refs since 2015. As of now I’m leaning towards Celtics +4 Celtics 1st Half +2 Celtics 2nd Quarter +.5 |

Celtics -3.5 2u Celtics -2.5 First Half 1.5u Celtics -1 2nd Quarter 1u - PUSH will also be playing Jaylen Brown o33.5 points at +580 for .5u (was the right read. Had 22 at halftime. Fell 7 points short) 3 unit day. I’ll take it

No major advantages for either team after the announcement of tonight’s officiating crew. Good sign for Boston that Robert Williams is both playing and starting tonight. With that being said, tonight I’ll be off Celtics -3.5 2u Celtics -2.5 First Half 1.5u Celtics -1 2nd Quarter 1u will also be playing Jaylen Brown o33.5 points at +580 for .5u Celtics have repeatedly shown the ability to bounce back after a loss and expect them to do so tonight easily if they can limit their turnovers. Celtics are +77 in the second quarter of games this postseason so if you like the C’s to win this is the quarter where they usually have gone on runs. Good luck everyone |
