I bet Chase at least scores a TD. Alex Smith is trash The Chargers are ranked 6th in passing yards given up. Last year when they faced Daniels they were in the 20's, that is what I meant by improved. They really held both Manning and Brady in check but their offense could not score. Chase might score a touchdown, but I think Rivers will get three. Who would you want to go to war with Rivers or Daniels? KC has lost four of their last five including a loss to the mighty Raiders. KC has been decimated by injuries just as the Chargers have been.I have been wrong before though so good luck to all. |

Yea hes so much better than Smith he's only started one game in his career that was when hey rested Smith against Chargers last year. That's one of the lamest comments I've ever seen on here (and I've seen a lot!). It always affects your team when your starting QB goes down, Smith is the leader of this team. Just ask yourself if I had my choice would i prefer the starting QB Smith or Chase Daniels? I rest my case. Seven in the box to stop Charles and make him beat you throwing. Also when he played the Chargers last year, and he played them well, there was no pressure. Now the game means something. Also Chargers secondary is much improved.

I remeber when Brady went down and Matt Cassel came in and let them to play offs. It lead to a huge contract for Csssel who really never did anything anywhere else. I do think New England is a great team because of Bellicheck not Brady, that's why other players go there and shine, its the system. I think if Chargers can get into Brady's head he will go into his "pout mode" and will make mistakes. Thats why I don't like Brady he reminds me of Cutler when he is losing, a big baby. I think it will be a good game, leaning Chargers. Hell, you'll be lucky to get past the peaking Dolphins in the late regular season, who already handed old man Brady his behind early in the season ( which I thought set the tone for the fact the Patriots could not win another Superbowl) 'FCUK FUXCK FUXCK!'!!- it was clear Brady knew the urgent and critical importance of that loss to the Fudge Packers.. Face it, that Pats team is a push-button team..any half assed QB could do well, and maybe ever better within that framework than the non-blue chip Brady. That guy walked into a wining system from the get-go ( how many QB; of average ilk like Brady get that chance??) and I .I think he is massively overrated, there are probably 15 QB's who could do as well or even better, and maybe actually even have the tools to beat a team like the Packers. |

Actually the Chargers are about as healthy as they have been all year. Only five players did not practice and a few of them have been injured long term (T'eo and Mathews). Brown really does not matter as they now have Ronnie Brown and rejuvenated running game with Oliver. My concern would be Flowers, he has been huge but did not practice but they did beat Seattle without him. Believe me the Chargers will not look past this game, McCoy will have them focused. If there was a look ahead game it was last week and they squeeked out a win. I like Chargers by 10.

So Far San Diego Has Had The Easiest Schedule and from now has the hardest schedule in the league
in NFL Betting
The truth is San Diego does not usually start strong and fade , recently it has been the opposite, start slow and finish strong. They have found a running game (Oliver) and Rivers is playing the best football of his career. I am not sure why that means he returns to earth, he has the deep threat in Floyd, Gates, Royal and Allen will soon have a breakout game. Their defense is the best it has been in years. Who does KC have as a deep challenge? The game will hinge on Charles and if they stop him it will be a long day for Smith. Even though they claim it has had the easiest schedule haven't they covered easily in all games but one?

Conference games are always interesting, especially the Raiders and Chargers who have a lot of history. The teams records do not seem to matter. When the Raiders beat the Chargers last year it was on the back of a four interception game by Rivers. That being said I have a hard time seeing how the Raiders cover this one. Its a QB league and Carr really does not coem close to rivers yet in efficiency. The Raiders are or near the bottom in defense and offense, while the Chargers are near the top. Both have injuries but the fill ins by the Chargers are superior to those of the Raiders. No running game and rookie QB against the leagues top defense seems to spell a long day for Oakland in my opinion.

Rivers #7 really? Can I ask what that's based on?

I think I would back Oakland plus 10 and feel confident they will cover...outright win may be very difficult San Diego always starts fast? They have not started fast for the last five years, except for this year. First eight games: 2013 4-4 2012- 4-4 2011- 4-4 2010- 3-5 And as far as last place i believe the Raiders have had the basement honor for awhile. |

I believe SD is only team in the league 5-0 against the spread this year.

I usually base my bets on what has happened this year, just seems to make sense rather than on the last two or three years. Rivers was tight in in Zona game which they should have won. Since then he has been lights out and the D is #1 in points allowed in the whole league. McCoy has instituted a "system" ala Belichick which does not depend on any one player but fits the players into that system. The players have bought into this wholeheartedly. That is why they have done ok with injuries. This game will no be close. McCoy will not let the team be unfocused. Sometimes in spite of all your theories, byes, resentments, let downs etc the better team wins. Oh aren't these the same Raiders that the mighty Jets beat? Thick twice about the faders.

So what your saying is that if it was Seattle on the road against Buffalo that you would be betting on Buffalo because Seattle is mediocre on the road? Its a QB league and I will take Rivers over Manuel in this one. Allen, Gates and Floyd will exploit the Buffalo secondary. Chargers D is underrated. The Chargers have been the best underdog in the league since 2003,
amassing a 42-28-4 spread record when getting points. They went 7-2-1
as a dog last season. My money on Chargers.

RB's are the real deal and Wr have more potential, speed and skills than most of people realize and give them credit for. SD was in my eyes and no proof that I said it but I shure as hell knew SD was going to pull one off at home and shock everyone there was no doubt in my mind they win. Coming cross country 2 teams amped and feeling great it should be a good game it will show on the field the trip SD has to take to BUFF its the Bills job to jump on them early get to Rivers early pressure will be huge that opens up the door for turnovers by SD. The Bills will run the Ball and try to control TOP thats critical keeping the offense on the field and scoring TD in red zone. Consistency is key if Buff keeps playing how they have the spread makes complete sense, I think they look better than I have ever seen them In at least a decade.(which isn't saying much haha) Now they overlook a very underrated team who has something to prove, aggression, faith in the TEAM, Security of not leaving BUFFALO, the fans rocked in the Ralph sunday and finally everything seems to be moving in the right direction. I have a lot more input on this game from someone who really watches and pays attention to the Bills as a huge fan I'm biast but putting that aside I really think they shock everyone again. Are you on crack? Inside info give me a break. The game is played on the field. The Chargers have been the best underdog in the league since 2003, amassing a 42-28-4 spread record when getting points. The Caliente SB by the border has a nice hotel adjacent to it and you can walk to it or catch the shuttle from the border crossing. The nicest is probably the downtown one. All are owned by Caliente. I would not recommend driving down park on this side of the border.

I think the Chargers provided a blueprint for other teams to be competitive with the Seahawks. The Chargers did not throw up field but took what Seattle was giving. This type of ball control offense seems to be the only way you might have a chance. The Chargers only averaged a little over two yards a carry on the ground but it made for manageable second an third downs. Manning is good at this. It will be interesting to see how this game goes. I don't buy the "they're pissed off because they lost" crap, ask NO and Indy about that before last week. If Seahawks get beaten at home that bandwagon might get a little lighter! I predict a close high scoring game with the last team with the ball winning.

All depends on Winston Sheppard, if he gets out of his slump and gets 10-15 poins, will be close game. Polee and Thames will get theirs but need someone else to step up offensively.
