created a topic Music in Miami@Denver game in General Discussion Did anybody happen to catch music that was used when cutting to commercials at least 3x during the Denver-Miami game - also when they showed the AFC teams & records towards the end of the broadcast with Nance talking over it? Also used it in a really cool little montage cutting to commercials with slo-mos of players, a cheerleader and the horse...Its very orchestral & hard-charging. It sounded a lot like David Rubidoux if you are familiar with his sound, used a lot in new NFL Films stuff... This kind of sound, esp the first 30 secs or so: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHMjIQeOgT8 I know it's a stretch, just hoping against hope someone heard it and recognized it. Thx. replied to Any hardcore Rush fans here? in Music Yo! I'm the biggest fan of the boys! I'm pretty much obsessed with all their stuff except for "Test For Echo" - which is an embarrassment. But one miss out of 18 studio records is an incredible 'track record'. It's still hard for me to believe at this stage they can release "Vapor Trails" and "Clockwork Angels" wish remain vitally creative and brilliant. If anybody else but RUSH released those records in the past 10 years, they would have been blockblusters with all kinds of critical accolades. replied to Watching NFL is the Most Annoying Sports-Related Content on TV Anymore in General Discussion I agree 1000% with this post. NFL broadcasts have become these plasticy, over-commercialized, and almost predictable presentations. It starts with the pre-game shows. I don't even bother. They are full of FLUFF that goes over the top in trying not to offend... and the BS "ball-busting" the guys do on each other - it's fake and annoying. It's the Prudential pregame show? Or is it the Sprint NFL Today? All the crass commercialization is completely exasperating. We get it - you want us to buy pick-up trucks, light beer, mobile devices and insurance.
