Man the unders just continue to kill it in these playoffs. Someone posted earlier I think 18-10 in regulation and looking like 2-1 headed into this last game. That's the only reason I laid off the indi over even though the indicators were there. That's where we're not supposed to be biased but I was. I'm scared to take any overs in this round of the playoffs.

You know what's funny is Rod is only right about one thing, that this thread may not interest people forever, but that's only cuz eventually people can take it or leave it but either way they have the tools to work it themselves, without needing the thread anymore.

If I was a selfish person I would have tried to post 60% for a while without sharing any details, and then if it worked I'd try and go tout. But instead I chose to put it out there for everyone.

I don't know why I did this, but really it was so we could discuss my ideas and learn and improve together. I'm the first to admit that I have things to learn, but certainly not from some old man that hates in my thread.

Thanks Armando you're right again. I for one am very happy with 60%. If you read post 303 I laid out a plan to $100,000 starting with $3k. It's gonna take a little while but at 60% is not gonna be a problem. That's the challenge, the 60% part. The rest is fairly easy with a little discipline. We could be there by this time next year.

What rod said about there being no system doesn't make sense. Vegas uses a system to set the lines. If they didn't have one they'd get rapaged.

I understand they have an advantage with the juice, but I think we can counter this due to the human element.

Some have said that Vegas only wants to even the money on both sides. This brings up an interesting concept- the line doesn't have to be where it should at all, according to where the total is gonna land. The line just has to be where it needs to be based on PERCEPTION, which determines where the money falls.

This is important because that's where the sharps exploit them, and where we do also since we follow the sharps. Say Vegas determines the true line on Lakers to be -3? They know though that at this line all the money will be on Lakers.

So how about this...say they know that even at -6, 2/3 of the $ is still gonna be on lakers? This is an extreme example of course, but it's an interesting concept. They put it at -6 then and win 2 ways. First, it helps balance the money better, and second they KNOW that lakers are really a dog at this price, meaning they are favored to win all the Lakers $.

If I thought the lines were where they were supposed to be based on the outcome of the game, I wouldn't sports bet. But this isn't the case. The lines are in many ways determined by THE PUBLIC. This provides us a means to exploit them.

I guarantee Vegas is rooting for Denver tonight. I want to be on the side Vegas is rooting for.

Actually I coulda been 2-1-1 with chi and Denver pending. Liked Atl -1.5, Atl -1 second half, indi -10, indi over, and chi and Denver. Those were all my leans today although nothing qualified system wise. I didn't talk about indi in the thread until post game but I already explained why I liked them.

exactly my point..chi(lets declare it winner) denver pending. it sounds to me you woulda ended up way higher 60% today..its playoffs and with few games left there will be few games if any that will fit your system perfectly..with few games left it all goes back to how confident you are and today sir you coulda had a heck of a day!!!!
