Mets vs Dodgers props

Prop bet #1: Francisco Lindor Over 1.5 total bases

+120 at DraftKings

Sorry, but an 0-for-4 career matchup line with Los Angeles Dodgers’ starter Jack Flaherty shouldn’t be a deterrent to target the Mets’ go-to guy.

Francisco Lindor has been a key cog in New York’s run to baseball’s final four, punctuated by his Game 4 grand slam to sweep the Phillies out of the playoffs.

That makes three straight games which the 30-year-old has picked up two total bases and four times in the last five postseason games.

Lindor hit .320 against the Dodgers this year — one of just three teams he hit over .300 against in 25 or more at-bats — including a double and two home runs.

At the top of the New York lineup, he should have ample opportunity to grab at least two total bases.

Prop bet #2: Shohei Ohtani Over 0.5 RBI

+125 at DraftKings

Since Shohei Ohtani’s scintillating playoff debut — where he went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI — the overwhelming favorite for NL MVP has been quiet.

Ohtani has gone just 2-for-15 over the next four games, with no extra-base hits and a single RBI as the Los Angeles Dodgers got past the San Diego Padres in five games.

Because of that, the books are giving us a buy-low option for baseball’s most fearsome hitter in Game 1, and we’re in.

Ohtani hit .316 against the Mets this year, with two home runs and six RBI in 19 at-bats.

He’s only faced New York starter Kodai Senga once, and he ripped him for a double.

As Senga is making just his third start of the season, we’re unsure if he’s ready to go deep into this start or if it will be a committee-type outing.

Either way, Ohtani is well-equipped to handle himself in this one.

Prop bet #3: Mookie Betts Over 1.5 total bases

+135 at DraftKings

It’s been a feast-or-famine type playoff for Mookie Betts so far, but he showed signs late in the Padres series that he could be ready to erupt.

Betts went hitless in the first two games of the NLDS but closed out strong with a pair of two-hit games over the final three contests, including two home runs, three RBI, and three runs scored.

There’s nowhere for Mets’ starter Kodai Senga to pitch around at the top of the potent Dodgers’ lineup, so Betts should have plenty of good pitches to look at.

While it’s a small sample size, the LA shortstop is 3-for-3 against Senga, including a home run and one driven in.
