The Rangers are getting overpriced here because Kumar Rocker is one of the sexier pitching prospects heading into the 2025 season. Yes, Rocker looked great in his three starts, but I love getting this value with Seth Lugo who is coming off one of the best seasons of his career, pitching to a 3.75 xERA. On top of that, the Rangers farm system still ranks in the bottom third of baseball and have plated just 19 runs over four spring training games going 1-3 to start Cactus League play.

Robbie Ray gets the ball for the Giants this afternoon and 2025 is a big year for the former Cy Young Award winner. The tight-pants left-hander has made just eight starts since 2023 but flashed his talent in his limited action last season, striking out 43 batters in 30 2/3 innings of work. The A’s had the 11th highest strikeout rate vs LHP last season and have scored just eight runs over their first two spring training games. This is meaningful work for Ray and getting the Giants at plus money looks solid.
