Tonight’s Memphis Grizzlies vs. New Orleans Pelicans matchup is a battle between the walking wounded.
Several players from both squads have hit the injury report, and that’s probably why Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane has such a high-scoring prop.
The Memphis two-guard averages a shade under 20 points on the road. Bane makes the same percentage of shots at home or on the road and probably won’t need to as nearly a 9-point favorite.
The other problem Bane will have is this Pelicans defense.
Bane has had some big scoring nights recently, but he's scored 25+ points just once in his last 10 road games. I’m betting that trend continues tonight at Smoothie King Center.

Memphis has won five of its last six meetings with New Orleans. The Pelicans could be without several guys and haven't even fared well against Memphis with their full team.
