All good things must come to an end, right? The Detroit Pistons’ eight-game win streak was snapped Friday with a 15-point loss to the Nuggets, but Detroit won’t have to wait long to try getting back in the win column.
The Pistons will look to sweep the season series against the Brooklyn Nets after beating Brooklyn by at least 14 points in each of the last two meetings. Can the Nets keep this one competitive, or will the Pistons win this one handily at Little Caesars Arena?

My analysis
The Brooklyn Nets have been one of the stingiest teams against opposing rebounders this season, but the Nets have struggled to keep opposing centers off the glass in recent matchups. Over their last 15, the Nets have allowed the most rebounds to opposing big men at a whopping 18.1.
Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren is averaging 10.3 rebounds per game this season, but he’s picked things up in that department after a slow start. Over the first 37 games, he pulled down just 9.4 boards, but he’s averaged 12.2 across 19 games since January 16.
In that span, Duren has hit the Over 11 times, including five of his last eight overall and three of his last four at home.
Detroit’s starting center has been better at home than on the road this season, pulling down 11.4 rebounds per game at Little Caesars Arena and just 9.3 across all other venues. He’s pulled down at least 12 rebounds in 21 of 56 games this season, but that includes 14 of 27 at home.
Duren grabbed 14 and 15 rebounds in two matchups with Brooklyn last season, and I expect him to take advantage of a favorable home draw tonight. I’m more than happy to his rebounds line at -115 with an implied probability of 53.49%.
He’s hit the mark in 57.8% of games since January 16, so we’re getting this one at a discount.
