There are just four games on the NBA slate tonight, but there are still plenty of options in the player props markets.

My NBA picks today are betting on Donovan Mitchell and Tobias Harris to fill up the hoop, and I'm also backing Clippers guard Bogdan Bogdanovic on his assists prop.

Here are my best free NBA player props for Tuesday, March 11.

NBA player props for March 11

Donovan Mitchell Over 21.5 points (-125 at bet365)

Donovan Mitchell and the first-place Cleveland Cavaliers host the Brooklyn Nets tonight. The six-time All-Star, who is averaging 24.2 points per game, is coming off a quiet 15-point performance at Milwaukee. However, Mitchell has scored at least 23 points in 16 of his last 21 games while averaging 27.3 ppg over that span.

The Nets play at a slow pace, but they're just 23rd in the league in defensive rating. It's also worth noting shooting guard Cam Thomas returned to the lineup recently, and while he gives the Nets a significant boost on offense, he makes them worse on defense.

There is some concern that if Cleveland gets up big, Mitchell might be rested in the fourth quarter. However, he has previously put up big numbers in blowout wins which indicates he'll fill up the hoop regardless of the score.

Tobias Harris Over 14.5 points (-125 at bet365)

Detroit Pistons forward Tobias Harris has been a solid scoring option throughout his career, averaging 17.5 ppg over the last eight seasons. It's simply been a matter of opportunity and playing time for him to fill the hoop.

Harris' offensive production was up-and-down at the start of this season but he's been more consistent lately. He's scored at least 15 points in 14 of his last 17 games and is averaging 17.4 ppg. He's coming off a 20-point performance against the Blazers and is poised for another strong game tonight at home versus the Washington Wizards.

The Wizards are terrible on defense and play at the fourth-fastest pace in the NBA, which has resulted in them allowing a league-worst 120.5 ppg. They also rank last in the league in ppg allowed to opposing power forwards (25.0).

Bogdan Bogdanovic Over 2.5 assists (-110 at bet365)

The Los Angeles Clippers traded for Bogdan Bogdanovic at the deadline and his playing time has surged with Norman Powell sidelined by an injury. The veteran shooting guard is averaging 31.4 minutes per game over his last five contests and dropped at least three dimes in each of those contests.

Tonight, Bogdanovic and the Clips face the New Orleans Pelicans who are last in the NBA in defensive rating and 28th in assists allowed per game (29.0).

Bogdanovic is averaging 5.2 potential assists per game, which is slightly higher than the potential assists that Kawhi Leonard (4.8) and Kris Dunn (4.9) average. However, Dunn and Leonard both have the O/U for their assists set at 3.5 (with the Over for Dunn priced at -150) while Bogdanovic has his total set at 2.5.
