My analysis
With the Toronto Maple Leafs trailing the Boston Bruins 2-1 in the series, the Buds need to start finding some offense quickly.
While Auston Matthews should be able to pull through with another big evening, his prop markets require a lot of juice that isn't necessarily worth the squeeze. Luckily for bettors, there’s still value to be had in his linemates.
Max Domi has registered seven assists in his last 10 games, with at least one apple in back-to-back postseason games. The rugged Leafs winger has been on a line with Matthews and Tyler Bertuzzi for nearly a month now, and the trio is coming off leading the NHL in goals per 60 in the regular season while sitting third in the league in expected goals per 60 at 5-on-5.
Getting a piece of Domi's assists line at +200 odds is a tremendous value. Toronto is going to need this trio to spark something tonight if they want to go back to Boston with a split series, so let's back the Leafs winger to keep the assists streak going.

For leg one of my same-game parlay, we’ll mirror my best bet with a Matthews anytime goal. Those two have had great chemistry, and it’s more likely than not that if Matthews scores, Domi will be involved. That’s how it’s been for weeks now.
Notching the first goal of the game will also be crucial for the Leafs. Toronto has also scored first in 58% of their games this season, so they should feed off the crowd’s energy and find the back of the net before Boston.
We'll wrap up tonight's SGP by backing the Leafs on the moneyline. William Nylander is expected to return tonight, which should help give the team the boost they desperately need.
