The Bombers were the best team in the CFL during the second half of the season. But the Riders also have momentum, going 5-1 SU and ATS in their last six with their only loss coming in a meaningless contest where they rested multiple starters. Winnipeg QB Zach Collaros was turnover-prone so expect the Bombers to lean on their ground game against a Riders defense that leads the league in takeaways. However, Saskatchewan's stop unit is stingy against the run and was the only D to slow down Brady Oliveira, holding him to 134 rushing yards in three meetings. The Riders might also rely on their rushing attack since Winnipeg's pass defense has been elite. However, they should have more success since the Bombers have struggled to stop the run (5.3 yards allowed per carry) in the absence of Adam Bighill. The Riders have a formidable RB duo in A.J. Ouellette and Ryquell Armstead who run behind a line that showed massive improvement down the stretch.
