I might as well copy and paste your writeup for my post. Solid stuff. I just can't get the score of 38-7 out of my head.
Blowout city. Like you said If Washington wins the turnover battle 4-0 and Miami struggles in the redzone this game could somehow be close. Other than that the Skins have no shot. no shot.

Those of you who know me know that I’ve got backbone and have no problem admitting being wrong on something. If I am wrong on the following I will also admit it: This Cardinals team is vastly overrated. The media and many people on this forum are hyping this team because Carson Palmer was 6-0 before his injury and is back. But nobody talks about how those games occurred. The Cardinals just played a lucky cupcake schedule. They played only one good defense and they were held to 10 points through three quarters by the Rams at home. The Eagles were average and the other four teams all had bottom-10 defenses. The Cardinals offense produced 22 ppg over that span – nothing to be excited about. For instance, the Eagles, Raiders & Skins got annihilated by good offenses. How about their much hyped defense? Two words: Todd & Bowles. Aside from red zone and 3rd down, this defense couldn't defend the pass. Todd Bowles worked with a lot of good schemes and heavy blitzing on 3rd down. This created a lot of crucial turnovers, but it wasn’t that this defense was dominating any good offense. Why keep I talking so much about the 2014 defense? Because there is only one guy who didn't see a significant amount of snaps last season and that's NT and rookie Rodney Gunter. According to my rankings they played four top-10 offenses: Cowboys (without Tony Romo), Broncos, Falcons and the Seahawks twice. I will not take the Cowboys into account, because without Romo this isn’t a top-10 offense. Look at how this defense got destroyed:
Broncos: 40 points / 568 yards / 7.5 yards per attempt (despite 2 INT by Manning)
Seahawks: 19 / 293 / 5.1
Falcons: 29 / 500 / 6.6
Seahawks: 35 / 596 / 8.9
That’s 30.75 PPG and 489 total yards per game conceded against top-10 offenses. The Eagles dropped 520 total yards on them despite missing Evan Mathis and throwing 2 INT. The Redskins outgained them by 120 yards, dropping more than 400 total yards on them - 7.1 yards per attempt!!! They outgained them by 2.4 yards per attempt... the pooorly Redskins!!!. They just destroyed themselves at the end. Mark my words: This defense is NOT good. They have only one quality pass-rusher in Calais Campbell, Antonio Cromartie is gone and Patrick Peterson had a bad season in 2014 and doesn’t really look improved. In the first halfs of the third pre-season week you can generally see in which shape teams are when they let their starters play. The Raiders didn’t play good, but the Cardinals looked horrible against them. Carson Palmer is not confident in the pocket and this offensive lines collapses very often. Patrick Peterson got burned twice by the Carr-Cooper connection. They can’t run at all. They had only one really good play on offense when TJ Carrie had terrible coverage on John Brown on a deep ball. Carson Palmer was very inaccurate. Does this mean it will look the same on Sunday? Heck, no. But it is an indicator.
The Saints were missing Brandin Cooks for half of
the season and had a below-average offensive line and they still
finished as a top-10 offense. They also had one of the worst defenses in
the league. They did a very good job in the off-season.
They boosted their offensive line with one of the best centers in the
league and drafted a very good Tackle in Andrus Peat. They adressed
their defense with OLB Kikaha who looked incredible in the pre-season, a
very good ILB in Stephone Anthony and CB Brandon
Browner from the Patriots. While their secondary still misses two
starters in Byrd and Lewis, their front seven is improved. And their
secondary isn’t much of an issue this week, because as we know, this
Cardinals offense is not good. This front seven will
find ways to disrupt the poor Cardinals offensive line and cause bad
throws by Carson Palmer here and there. Watch out for Kikaha!

Miami Dolphins -3.5 +100
IMO taking the Redskins in this game is like
playing Russian Roulette with seven bullets. The one free slot equals an
early exit of Ryan Tannehill or two special teams and one defensive
score. I don’t have a big play in week one because
there is a chance I’ve missed something before the season starts but
later in the season this would have been a big play for me. I had a big
play on the Dolphins against the Chargers last year and the game ended 37-0. It was an equal game, not because of the players but because of the strengths and weaknesses in the matchups. The Chargers couldn't get pressure towards Tannehill and their offensive line got eaten - Rivers got sacked four times.
The Dolphins have the best 4-3 defensive line in the league, period. This line is also incredibly deep. Earl Mitchell looks stronger, he was pushing linemen a few yards backwards against the Falcons. CJ Mosley is a nice addition, as well as rookie Jordan Phillips. Even Derrick Shelby looked good in the pre-season. This line won’t have any concerns in fourth quarters with such a rotation. Olivier Vernon will keep Trent Williams busy and on the other side there is such a big mismatch it isn’t funny. Suh and Cameron Wake will line up against rookie Brandon Scherff and Morgan Moses (1 combined NFL start). On Monday this game will be on wikipedia as the definition for the word “pressure”. This first step by Suh is flat out amazing. Against the Falcons he was disrupting the opposite o-line before the center has given away the ball. Cameron Wake is one of the best DEs in the league. Kirk Cousins won’t have a clean pocket and will struggle because he is not good under pressure. Later in the season I expect this offense to be legit with the o-line having time to gel and a solid receiving corps, but going against the likes of Grimes and Taylor while getting throws from Kirk Cousins under pressure will cause trouble for the Redskins. Gruden said that the Skins want to run to set up quick passes. They ain't running against the Dolphins. If you want to know how this offense might look like on Sunday, feel free to watch the tape from the Rams@Skins game from 2014 when Colt McCoy was under center who I liked a lot. Cousins will get sacked multiple times and there is a chance he doesn’t finish this game.
The Redskins made a good job in the off-season upgrading their college defense. But with Breeland and Gallette out, this isn’t a good matchup at all. Branden Albert is ready to go and Mike Pouncey will play at his natural position again. Albert can block everything, one of the best LT’s in the league. This first-string offensive line is just legit. When Albert and Pouncey were playing, the Dolphins were nearly unstoppable. And while I believe the Redskins to have an improved pass rush, this is not enough to get consistent pressure on this pocket. I said it in May: Ryan Tannehill is a very underrated QB. He had the 5th best accuracy and the 4th best INT percentage last season. Only Ben Roethlisberger was better in both categories. And he can run. Kenny Stills, Jarvis Landry, Greg Jennings, Jordan Cameron, my favorite WR in the draft DeVante Parker, Richard Matthews, Dion Sims and Lamar Miller in the backfield – Ryan Tannehill will be moving the ball with ease. And what’s even better: he will get a few short fields because of their defense. This game has 31-6 written all over it.Miami Dolphins -3.5 +100

I’ve got tremendous respect for Josh McDaniels – his play-calling was brilliant once again. But it was an easy game for the Patriots offense.
This Steelers defense is garbage. Their front seven might progress as Shazier, Tuitt and Timmons weren’t 100%, but their secondary is atrocious.
The Patriots’ offensive line surprised me positive-wise, but I need the Bills game to get a real clue. They didn’t recognize the one safety blitz, but overall it was pretty solid and was just what the Patriots were asking for.
The Patriots’ secondary is as garbage as the one from the Steelers. Brown was 9/10 for 120+ yards against Malcolm Butler. Fletcher played poor as well as Brown did. The spy on ABrown didn’t work. It was just horrible. Devin McCourty missed terribly on the outside play to Markus Wheaton.
The injury of Easley hurt but they couldn’t get pressure on Ben. It were still the 4 starting offensive linemen from last season though. Cody Wallace played poorly from what I remember. Two stupid holding calls.

Good start on a good line for you.
I like when teasers hit no matter how I did it....
Don't like the Saints this week.... BUT LOVE the Miami play.
I have to make my top 3 plays on Friday. What is your top play?
I'm thinking Dallas, Cincy and Miami.
Thanks Heff. The Ray and Deb Barone visiting Doug was on tonight. LMAO
