It was the greatest political prop bet ever with psychological capping at it's core. That is why you are in this thread because that is the core of your sports capping.
I want to add that Bernie would have won. 100%. For all Trump's complaining about rigging, the real rigging came from the DNC when emails revealed Debbie Wasserman literally wanted to prevent Bernie from being the nominee. That was a betrayal of trust that kept many Democratic voters home. And when you have Florida decided by 100,000 votes, that is significant.
Everything you stated is accurate but what really drove it home, what scared the bejesus out of me was when Hillary used the "basket of deplorables" terminology.
It reminded me of Mitt when he was recorded saying 47% of the country are takers. His poll numbers plummeted after that (when polls actually meant something). I can't believe she said that.
For all my disdain for the GOP and the bigots/racists/xenephobes/nationalists/war-mongers/hypocrites/misogynists therein, I don't even use those terms in PRIVATE casual conversations.
And she uses it to address a room of donors. Nail in the coffin...in hindsight of course.
