Let's start working on solutions instead of pointing fingers on who's to blame ?? I think this is what differentiates DEMS from REPUBLICANS. The left is always looking for a scapegoat, when they should be focusing their attention on fixing the problem.
For decades, democrats have tried to negotiate in good faith with republicans to fix or modernize immigration system. But congress hasn't passed bipartisan immigration reforms since 1986. Recently, republicans have blocked Biden's proposed US citizenship act, American dream act and Farm worker modernization act.

You just don't get it.
What's happening has little to do with immigration policy, it has to do with border security & enforcing current laws....... & stop the nonsense about "dems trying to negotiate in good faith"......they haven't done a fuckin thing either.

Increase in immigrant encounters isn't a result of reduced security and law enforcement. Border policies, budgets and staffing have remained largely similar in Biden and Trump administrations. US custom and border protection is still the largest federal law enforcement agency costing US taxpayers billions that could be better spend on healthcare, education and infrastructure.

This is clearly way above your head or comprehension level. You still do not even know what border cities in Mexico means. Why are you bringing up the East coast? Not even the same topic we were discussing in regard to the border wall across the Southern border and the issues in border cities.

Pretty sure he is referencing the "sanctuary cities" on the East Coast like NYC. The sanctuary States on the East coast are Conn, Mass, Vermont, NY & NJ.
On a related note, with the exponential increase we've seen in the use of drone warfare in the past year or so, why not use this tech as another tool & means to monitor border positions that may be at the most risk? Just a thought, carry on....

Drone use is probably a decent supplement but that also requires human maintenance plus the bigger issue than cameras or drones is how to immediately take care of an issue in areas far far in distance. So if this drone or that camera that views something going on, then the hard part is getting a human to the point of interest and taking action.
Cameras are great for small areas and drones can be useful but not sure as a day in and day out, year in and out comprehensive plan for thousands of miles and all day all night all conditions situation.
One thing is for sure true, no way could the National Guard be able to step in to a mid or long term role for several states, thousands of miles and years of commitment and for us to think it is accomplishing anything positive.
If the idea is to make a splash and get voters to the polls then sure we can shoot up a teeny bottle rocket and point fingers, blame partisan parties, insult other politicians, spend money to shuttle people to other states and annoy them and demean the person, but a plan that can succeed takes serious funds, comprehensive day in and out strategy and personnel and never ending support for the project and I just see none of those things being present currently OR at any time in the past.

I get it, but he was changing the topic. I was responding to his question as to why any city in Mexico would care about a border wall, which I said he clearly does not have a clue of the challenges Mexico deals with in terms of crime and violence in border cities on their lands. Then he randomly brings up NYC and migrants making their way to NY. Has absolutely nothing to do with what I was discussing.

Look at Europe, I'm sure they are so much better after letting radical muslims in their country. Islamist only fuk up what were nice living conditions, read the news later today about unprovoked knifings in the name of allah. The U.S. is heading the same way, look at Michigan. Those people hate everybody that is Christian. anyone not Muslim and they all want to change America into what they came from.
