Started betting my Sophomore year in college. Listening to Fraternity brothers talking about it. Didn't have a clue put in $40 bucks online and took a 3 game 10 point teaser that a buddy told me to take. The rest is history. Miss the good ole days where they would direct deposit your winning in your bank account. Grew from online to having a local. Do remember as a kid pops asking me who I liked better in NFL games. So born into as well.

Liked the casino though it was small. Rooms were nice, but I upgraded to a view of the strip which meant view of Treasure Island and a little bit of the Mirage.
Lagasse's Stadium is awesome has good wings and cold cheap beer. Carne Vino was also a good steak but wasn't impressed with the sides. I would stay there again but next time I go will probably try the Wynn out. |

Didn't gamble there but went to the Overlook Grille and had a few drinks outside. Awesome view of the strip on the 3rd floor. Casino seemed a little crowded but overall was pretty cool looking.

Question to you gun veterans, is it legal to sell rifles without going through a dealer and doing the background check? I recently purchased a Sig 556 package deal and it came with the Sig 522 .22lr. I have no use for the 522 and wonder if I can sell it without going to a gun store and putting it on consignment. I don't really want to use online sites like gunbroker either. Suppose I met someone at the gun range who's interested can I just sell the rifle to that person for cash and be done with it? Typically you are allowed to sell to whoever, unless you knowingly know the guy is a convicted felon or states he wants the gun to kill someone, but to CYA you will need to go down to your county sheriffs office. They will give you a transfer of sale and put it in their database. At least that is how it works in the south. |

Thanks all. My girlfriend's company has a membership and her boss put us on the list for Friday when we are out there. I will post a review when I get back. I just didn't want to waste my time if it wasn't worth it. Counting down the days. Can't wait to be back there.

Anyone been there or tried any of the rental packages? I have several firearms and it seems kind of steep for only a few rounds through some Machine Guns, but might be something fun to do during the day.

I went two years ago. Had a blast. We researched for awhile and found this company Maverick.
They have the best helicopters and flew us over the Hoover Dam, Vegas and Landed in the Grand Canyon for about 40 mins where we had Champagne waiting. This is the high end of the tours, but with high winds I would pay a little more to ensure that your are flying with the best. Good Luck. |

I had a buddy that was an assistant for a local College basketball team. They had one player that was leading the team in scoring and Vegas made them a -14 point favorite. The day before the game he was busted for a domestic dispute with girlfriend and was not able to travel to the game the following night. Needless to say my buddy told me to pound the other team. I did. Vegas never got wind of the players trouble and the lost by 40 that night. Every now and then it is nice to stick it to them.
What is your best inside info you ever received? |

Get a nice Cabernet and a Pinot Grigio for the white wine drinkers When all else fails a Chilean Red wine is always good and reasonably priced. Plus women like a guy who can choose something that doesn't taste like shit at a restaurant. I always use this default. Any Italian white is good as well. |

I think it is hilarious that the University of Alabama is still getting props on ESPN and Auburn is playing for the National Championship. Auburn will always be baby brother.
