nice write up...but I wouldnt agree with much of it.  Just my two sense, you are using alot from the Tampa game which really was a rollover game...

You call the Giants run game "ho hum"...with a healthy bradshaw and jacobs that is a superior run game...they have speed, catching ability, power, and really setup alot of the pass game.  I dont know who wins this game (I have it capped at gmen -1 so its a no play for me) but I would just caution your write up misses alot of key points...  Hope for a good game overall!

what kind of parlay is this??? You are using the spread and you should be receiving odds like -110 or -115...The lines you wrote look more like money lines although gbs money line would be much higher...

This game is setup perfectly for the Jets to win big.  I know they have looked average but lets face it they did get beat by the Patriots and Ravens (2 top teams in AFC) and the Raiders are no slouch (although that is a bad loss)...With Matt Moore at QB the jets will load up the box.  Thomas, bush whoever will not have any daylight.  Revis will be on Marshall so the window will be small for Moore... Im sorry I just dont see where the Dolphins have a chance in this one.  I would expect a Jets win in the 31-7 area.  Maybe a late garbage TD by Miami but no where near the 7 point spread.

VCU/Butler Analysis:

Two mid majors both who lay it on the line all game....

VCU-strenghts, pressure in your face, on the ball, and in transition.  3 pt line--- they will shoot 25 -- how do you defend?  Joey Rodriguez, creator and can shoot must stop him--SKeen will be a beast inside and out.

Butler- Strengths, tempo and pace control, always make good decisions... shelvin mack is the best guard in this game, matt howard is versatile and a tough matchup, butler is very tough mentally and will not be rattled.

This game will be measured by 2 key factors:

Tempo- so far both teams have imposed their style onto their opponent--will butler speed up and play out of its element?  Will VCU be forced into a half court game and lose its rhythm?

Matt Howard- If he stays out of foul trouble it gives the game to butler, if he picks up some early fouls--VCU could bury butler in the first half

Overall---

Two well coached teams--slight advantage is Butler because of familiarity, leadership, and a coach that has been there before.  HOWEVER this game will be won by VCU if they are hitting their 3's which I think they will... although many see the pressure on VCU being their first time and all, I actually think it is on Butler who for the first time this tourney are favorites.  Obviously this is a very evenly matched games and numerous things can happen to affect the outcome, but analysis points to VCU being the team on top:

So you have Witchita st a 3 pt underdog to washington st... and now a 2.5 point favorite to alabama????

I know Witchita st dismantled Washington st but how does that equate into a favorite against bama???  Heading into the final 4 of this tourney alabama was the favorite to win... now they are an underdog??

I know 63 out of 5.9 million is not a lot but i still cant fathom that there would be 63 brackets with kentucky-vcu... Im not expert but i follow alot of college ball, and i probably could have filled out a million brackets and not come up with that championship!  I had VCU beating gtown and purdue but i thought that was crazy---

It would be nice to see the NCAA start something like interconference play... like ACC vs Horizon, Big East vs CAA something like that to get some of the majors to schedule the mid majors... it should be a random draw for home/away end of discussion!

I live in Buffalo and a few years ago North Carolina came here and it generated tons of buzz and fans were out in droves... I know they will never regulate this but it would be nice to have some basis for comparison---if va tech had to play hofstra this year we could have some comparison in relation to tourney and it would even up SOS for everyone
