They only scheduled the game to get bowl eligible. So someone cares. Whether that is the players or not, who knows. If they win they have the longest active bowl streak in the nation.
The question won't be about VT motivation, it will be about whether they are good enough to beat Marshall

With all that being said this is week 1 CFB and anything can happen and thats why I am not giving up 38 points although it was tempting after capping this game................What do you like about Oregon ST in this one? Clearly the game could easily get out of hand for Oregon State and unfortunately we went from a scenario where Ohio State was likely very disinterested, to actually being interested between the time I made the investment until now. With that said, there are very few teams that get the addition by subtraction at the head coach spot the way Oregon State does. Oregon State did stink last year but some of that was losing their starting QB and head coach a few games into the season. That is a lot for a below average team to overcome. And the offensive strength for Ohio State this year will probably be their wide receivers and not saying they won't have a huge day (they will) but Oregon State sees good wide receivers a lot in their conference too. As bad as Oregon State was last year, only Oregon, in the finale, beat them by this margin. All that said, it would not be shocking to see a 55-6 final in the game. It can slip away fast sometimes in these games. And there is the problem of TOSU still trying to score when they pull the starters. But know that the QB isn't bad, and neither is their offensive line. If they can just manage the game, they cover. if they give up the Punt return TD or defensive score, they probably don't. |

Best of luck Wahoos.
Can the wahoos slow Indiana without their best db? Am I faster than your average BYU player? Thoughts on NMSU vs UNM? Agree with your Buffalo opinion. Jackson probably the best QB in the conference and gets zero respect. Guy is going to look like cam newton to all the midget defenders in the MAC this year. He doesn't have a lot of pieces around him but he will be giving people fits for years. Run defense looked improved in game one .. not sure how much of that was gopher offense. Schedule is about to get hard for Purdue. I played them both week one and two but not quite sure how high to rate them. Name a few teams close to them in your ratings for reference please. Best of luck this year and every year. Enjoy your thread.

Briles goes to LSU and he can get Darren Sharper as an assistant coach.
BookieA ... reasoning on ball state if you get the chance and thanks for all of your hard work.

He saw value on GT for the game and he bet it.
After watching the GT defense spend a millennium on the field while the option was completely stuffed, he saw a value on the 2h -7. If the thinks the 2h -7 had value (I kind of thought it might), then he should bet it. Jesus. Damn zoo over here sometimes. You the man, Jimmy. Keep fighting the good fight.

Bold prediction saying Hawaii will score less than twice what their team total will be.

Not taking the over and I did make it a little lower than it is, but Texas is going to be going at a far faster pace this year .. think Tulsa style pace. That doesn't mean they can execute it but just know the number of plays in Texas games in 2016 is going to dwarf that of 2015.
Best of luck on your wager. I love to see under bettors.

Good call as NDSU did not score 21 in regulation.
Disagree that Charleston Southern deserved to win. They missed that FG by just a couple feet that would have won the game for them, they played great .. but they were outgained 424 to 263 and out first downed 21 to 11. So in my opinion, NDSU deserved to win. Anyway great bet bking

Watch the last play of the Hawaii vs California game. It occurs at the 2:36:40 point or so. Did he score or not? What is your call?

I think he was so mad at his team that he wanted them to run more plays. He didn't just run more plays, he did it with the starting QB. Game was pretty even despite the score.
Hawaii basically lost the game on the penalty on the punt play. Instead of 14-17 with the ball, they didn't get to run an offensive play again until down 27-14. Then gave up the late score when they failed to tackle on a bubble screen and a few plays later Webb went bo jackson vs bosworth on a safety. Anyway, I think that is why he was trying to score again .. or he was doing it for the alumni (which I always would to increase funding).
