I believe he's trying to uncover those teams that are on average either undervalued or overvalued by the books, irrespective of all other factors

Nice stress free Cubs winner. Please limit your selections to more like that in future. No bullpens required!

Why does three losses mean you're due for a win? It might mean you're just rubbish

I'd love to know what your profit would be if you played these sides as ML or even minus RL. Simple maths actually suggests that in the long run your profit would tend to be almost the same; only your route there would vary. Seems hard to grasp but it's true. Good luck going forward....

Bottom line though is TheActuary is ... well ... likely an actuary and has a fairly solid grasp of math. He had a solid season last year, and is doing good this year. I think he knows what he is doing.Like your picks today. This X 1000 Plus the fact that Icegun has never offered any insight or picks since his arrival on this site, with mostly whining when a good capper has a bad day If you think I'm being harsh check back any post at random |

Great thread. Two things come to mind....
Do the stats indicate this is a worse year than usual for bullpens or is it always this atrocious? And best thread ever on Covers.... Dear G0d, hear comes Heath Bell..., |
