I like the over in the UAB/Tulsa game. too. Trent Dilfer could very well be the worst coach in college football. They can't stop anybody. Cooper Legas rallied Tulsa last week and should do well against a weak UAB defense. |

The play today is South Alabama Team Total over 33.5. I like the way the ran the ball last week and they seem to have momentum at this point in the season. Georgia Southern isn't particularly strong up front. |

Louisiana seems a little overvalued. They are 5-1 but the offense has looked a little off against some porous defenses the last few weeks. Not playing as well as they did earlier in the year. They were able to get some turnovers and big plays last week and were a little lucky to beat a downtrodden App State team and that gives some line value to Coastal Carolina. Coastal Carolina is inconsistent, but they are playing at home in a "Homecoming" game with a few days of extra rest. I would expect a better effort from them after getting blown out last time. |

Iowa State-13.5 I would expect this line to move. UCF is a mess. They have lost 3 straight games, and they desperately want the Guz Malzahn era to end. Players have likely checked out at this point of the season. They tried switching quarterbacks and that didn't really work, Iowa State has been solid. Unless they turn the ball over or play sloppy, they should cover at home.

@Norton-Frickey Just read an announcement from the Big 12 that this game will be played as scheduled. |

This was a 19-6 lazy game on pace to go under the total until the New Mexico State coached called a foolish timeout with 1:25 when it was clear Jax was ready to call it a half. Nex Mexico state like any other bad team quickly unraveled and 14 points just like that.

@WahooS Agree. The over makes sense. Should see points scored as both teams have efficient offenses. |

Not sure if they will play this game due to the Hurricane status. If so, I like Cincy+3. UCF is a mess right now. People are calling for Gus to be replaced. The team looks to be unraveling. Cincy QB Sorsby has quietly put together a strong season. |

I can't blame the kid considering the way the game has changed. This isn't college football of the past. It's probably the most opportune time where he can make the most money in his life, and if he believes that leaving the team is best for him financially, then you can't really blame him. |

@Rollz I agree with you. Wrote something similar in another thread. I think Mora has established a physical identity that is starting to gel. Also believe that Mora is motivated to have a strong season in order to be noticed and considered for bigger coaching opportunities that potentially await. |

I think UConn is starting to create an identity with a physical style and strong running game under Mora. The new transfer portal players are starting to make a difference. Think Mora is motivated to have a strong season and get noticed for future openings. I will lay the 5.5 against Buffalo which did win last week against Northern Illinois. That game looked a little misleading as Northern Illinois essentially gave that game away. Could be somewhat of a letdown spot for an inexperienced Buffalo team on the road against a motivated UConn team that appears to be trending up.

UCLA is coming off a bye. Indiana is playing on the road for the first time with a new coach and QB and is a favorite. This game looks tricky. It's hard to place a ticket on UCLA. Game is a pass for me. |

I see a lot of people liking the underdog Beavers and the points. I get it as Oregon has disappointed so far. One thing to consider is that Boise is underrated and should be ranked. Boise has some talented skill players and have former NFL coach Dirk Koetter as the offensive co. Boise's entire season and potential to make the 12-team playoff was all on the line. They were going to be focused, and it was going to be difficult for Oregon with the new players on offense to match that intensity. The line closed at -17.5. This week, Oregon is -16 at most shops. I feel like the line value this week is with Oregon. Oregon State has a new QB and coach and lost a lot in the transfer portal. I know the Beavers have impressed so far, especially last week against a sorry San Diego State team. They have shown so far to have a strong running game and don't ask the new QB to do that much. I am not so sure that Oregon State right now is as good as Boise was in their spot last week. Oregon is capable of putting it together if they play up to their potential and limit the penalties and turnovers. |

@Boisestateand8 I can't trust either Napier or Cristobal. I could see both losing their jobs this season. |

@Boisestateand8 I grabbed Hawaii early and got 16.5. It's such a tough spot for UCLA. They are on the road in an early kickoff start Hawaii time laying double digits with a new coaching staff and a lot of player turnover. Further, they have a bye week the following week. |

I am not sure Finley will be the starter. Caden Veltkamp played like superman in the bowl game and physically resembles a slimmer Justin Herbert. |

Taking the over 59.5. Anytime a total is under 60 in a Western Kentucky game it's always worth a look. They aren't known for defense and always seems to give up a ton of points especially when matched up against a Power 5 school. I know it's Kalen Deboer's first game with his new team, but they should be able to pile on points against Western Kentucky. I can't lay the chalk of over 30 with them but think the over makes sense. |

The defense looks like bowling pins. I was on them and fortunately was able to live bet Cal when it was obvious the North Texas defense has no clue what they are doing. |

If anybody follows his picks. I don't think as of now he has lost a game this weekend. He could very well go 18 and 0.
