For those that attempt to cap the narrative or *fix* angle, Austin was just named the best college town in America by WalletHub (who?). https://wallethub.com/edu/e/best-worst-college-cities-and-towns-in-america/8974 Best bet: Somehow someway, come Saturday night in primetime, the Eyes Of Texas are upon LOU. |

OU a proud program that could use a bowl win here. Both teams lost the majority of their games when they played real competition, so there is that. Regardless, -10 FSU certainly looks like a trap. A Cheez-it Bowl trap. I'd be on the OU ML before jumping on the 'Noles point spread, that's for sure. OU |

Excellent decision from the Contemporary Players Committee to elect McGriff to the Hall of Fame. This guy was one of the most reliable sources of power during an era (late 80s to early 90s) where HRs weren't what they are today (abundant). And later in his career when he was not on par with the top shelf sluggers, you have to respect his ability to work a walk to get on base. Stud hitter with power to all fields, and a career BA north of .280. Loving the admittance. |

USC loses. TCU loses.
Clemson wins in a prime-time blow out. Michigan struggles with Purdue in prime-time. 'Bama still grinning from its Iron Bowl victory. Say it ain't so, but death, taxes and controversy in who makes the CFP. |

QB is so important in CF. Difficult to see value in backing an unproven commodity. Esp. w/the other side's guy being an asset. |

The formula for beating Brady in the playoffs has always been pressure, make him move his feet.
The Rams front has some elite players who can push / collapse the pocket. Plus some of the better Buccaneers' OL had to play hurt last game.
No Godwin, no more AB. If someone's looking for reasons to side with LA, they're there. |

Conforto made the last out of the 7th. How did Lindor start at 2nd base in the bottom of the 8th? |

Bucs +3.5 to +4.5 by game day (Cover) GB ML -175 or higher by game day (Straight Up) The above makes sense if the cameras expect to see Thomas shaking hands with a quarterback who is clearly superior in physical talent once it's all over. Just in case these things matter Pack early, but Bucs in the backdoor. |

He's won 2 in Pittsburgh. 01 & 04 seasons. Bledsoe came in due to injury at one point and lead a crucial drive in the first of those AFCCG though. Maybe he gets a split on that W. |

RAMS VS. PATRIOTS: There's no need to wait around two weeks to put a bet in. MEGA Write-UP!
in NFL Betting
Purely from a talent evaluation (amateur as I may be) this looks like the Rams have a decided advantage. When compared to the teams which have previously prevailed in the Super Bowl over the Patriots, Los Angeles looks as good or better on paper in my opinion.
I am not sold on the idea the Rams can win a shoot out, but if they can keep this low scoring then that is probably their best bet. Defensively they have the type of team which has always given the Patriots problems - a defensive front that can make the quarterback move his feet and get pressure with only 4 rushers. Their secondary has been strong when at full strength. Offensively Los Angeles has been quality. The QB struggled some late in the season, but that seems to be behind the team. As long as they mitigate turning it over then their offensive line allows for them to utilize their running backs in a variety of dominating ways.
Capping is not just about players these days though. It is about vibe, and seemingly about a perpetual narrative that goes beyond just what happens on the field or court. From this perspective, New England will likely have an advantage. The Rams franchise has not ever been real solid Super Bowl performers. They played respectable in their first game against the Steelers, but still got handled by the end of the game. When they won the Super Bowl, they beat the Titans, who had the Rams not been playing them, may look a lot like them - as in, never won anything. Tennessee is not exactly a prominent franchise when thinking about a winner. Then the Rams have also lost as 14 point chalk to New England. Not great mojo there my Rams buddies. It seems a foregone conclusion that the Rams let New England hang around. I sincerely hope that they can hold off a late Patriots charge. From a talent perspective it is clear to me that the value is on the LA Rams. Let's hope that's where this one ends up. Cheers! |

Based off his 2018 playoff showing in LA, Machado is a heel, not a face. IDK what exactly is being constructed on the Southside, but that would be a lot of coin to give to a guy that in 3 years most likely is an absolute albatross around all that purported young talent coming through the pipeline.

Colts are notorious for folding their tents late in the season, and have never shied away from sucking for draft picks.
Houston's first pick is owned by Cleveland, so losing provides no incentive on that front. Indianapolis' futility will likely keep the Texans in the game. Draw your own conclusions....
