Claw...I have been on the SeaHags all year and still am, I do have a few concerns, let me know your thoughts...
Earl Thomas/Sherman Injuries have to be accounted for.. The Seahawks seem to be lackadaisical this week... Carolina and GB did attack the middle of the field pretty well... These are my perceptions, looking for your thoughts..

New England vs New York Jets 27-25 and 17-16 Jets terrible QB/WR and a decent rushing attack. Jets top 10 total defense and top 10 rushing defense. I would venture to say the Hawks have a better defense and a better QB/WR on offense. Lastly, BEASTMODE, probably a little better than the Jets rushing attack. Just an angle to be reviewed before you go all in on the Pats.... |

I think an important match-up to review is NE/Jets. The Jets are in the bottom of the barrel when it comes to QB/WR, but have a very solid rushing attack. The Jets have a very solid Defense, ranking in the top 10 in Total Defense and the top 10 in Total Rushing. NE won 27-25 and 17-16. NE was held to 63 yards rushing and 85 yards rushing in these games. NE and SEA both lost to KC, I would like to break these games down. SEA has faced 5 top 10 offenses and 5 top 10 passing offenses, going 4-1 and 4-1. All this chatter reminds me of a few games in the past.....NY/NE 2008 and NY/NE in 2012....both times the better DEFENSE won. I hope the Brady Train keeps rolling in and SEA will be getting points by game time.... |

At the present time we have a 6 pt diff to the line in PR 2. And the Seahawks far better in the value ratings, a deadly combo in the SB.
And Seahawks will become bigger favorites on my lines when we factor in the better defensive team in PR 1 I'll get to that a bit later.
The SB was setup perfectly with Seahawks winning by the slimmest of slim margins and the Pats winning big.
I was thinking the same thing....Seattle plays it's worst game of the year and still wins...perfect! Let the media talk about Brady all week...I was on the Hawks last year and I will be again. Defense wins championships, always has and always will. |

Seattle did not have Wagner or Chancellor in the Giants game, I may offer they are decent defenders. |

The obvious would be to see Seattle already beat GB to open the season 36-16 and assume that game will repeat itself. The game was closer than than. Is it possible? Yep... I think Paul Richardson tearing his ACL vs Carolina is bigger than people think. He was their speed guy. Baldwin and Kearse dont scare anyone....I think that will allow the Pack to come up and stop (attempt at least) Lynch and spy Wilson.... Seattles win vs Carolina wasnt as impressive as the score would make it seem. A gift wrapped td, a long 3rd down bomb td and a pick 6.... Additionally, nobody really wants to see Seattle in the SB again. I personally dont care either way, but I can do without hearing about russell wilson being a smart qb, beast mode and seeing Richard Shermans face..... The Legend has spoken Train nothing but respect for your, long time follower....but if you look at the SEA/CAR game I think the score could have been much worse that the ending in favor of SEA. Cam can move, which allowed him to dink and dunk, AR has a bum leg. Also, how many pics did SEA drop in the first half? And how many plays were CN legs the result of a first down. Cam Chancelor and Lynch have been eating some food enriched in skittles and they are definitely Goliath.....and GB is not David.

Nice. I think this is a great spot for the Hawks also. What is your thought on the total? I see a lot of people on the under, but I think the chance for a big plays may put it over....

I think Vegas clearly knows who the public will bet on, especially the SB. The SB brings many many many betters to the table that probably have never bet on a game before and I would gather most of those newbies will be all over the media favorite, in this case Team Manning...or the Broncos.
In fact if you look at past SB 'a it seems the public favorite is usually the favorite in the big game. |

Just in case anyone cares here is where the SB teams ended up in a few stats this year... Seattle 17th Total Offense 26th Passing O 4th Rushing O 1st Total Defense 1st Passing D 7th Rushing D +20 turnover ratio Denver 1st Total O 1st Passing O 15th Rushing O 19th Total D 27th Passing D 7th Rushing D Even turnover ratio Both teams were 4-3 against above 500 teams. Both teams were 6-2 on the road. Both teams lost to the Colts.
