It’s all hands on deck Tuesday, as every team is in action in Major League Baseball. That’s 15 games to sift through to nail those best YRFI/NRFI bets.

This prop is simple, and results come quick: just pick the matchup where you think the two teams will combine for at least one run in the first inning or not.

Check out our best MLB picks below, beginning with an all-AL Central matchup in Cleveland.

NRFI/YRFI bets for March 19

White Sox vs Guardians YRFI (+176 at ProphetX)

It’s a battle of two teams streaking on the yes side of bets, as the Chicago White Sox and the Cleveland Guardians rank in the Top 5 of YRFIs this year.

The White Sox are currently reeling, losers of five straight and hanging out in the basement of the AL Central. They’re currently in a stretch of four straight games with a first inning run, and have found themselves trailing in three of the last four games.

Shane Smith gets the call against Cleveland, and he’s been clean in his only start of the year against the Twins, giving up two hits and two earned runs in 5 2/3 innings.

The Guardians have seen a first-inning score in three straight games, though starter Ben Lively has also been clean in his first two starts. Still, he’s 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA.

With two streaks running, it feels like at least one team will keep the good times rolling.

Angels vs Rays YRFI (+152 at ProphetX)

Another team with a lengthy streak of YFRIs is the Los Angeles Angels, who open a set with the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday.

L.A. is a Top 4 team in first inning run-scoring this year, at a healthy 44.4% clip in 2025, though Tampa is a Bottom-4 side, scoring a first run in 22.2% of their games in 2025.

Tampa starter Shane Baz was stellar in his debut start, going six scoreless innings and striking out 10, while veteran Kyle Hendricks didn’t allow a run in the first in his opening start, going six solid with two earned runs against in a win over the Cardinals.

However, these teams have been pretty good at getting on the board early in recent meetings. In seven head-to-heads last year, a first-inning run was scored five times.

I’ll take recent trends vs. one-off starts to 2025 and see what happens at plus-money.

Brewers vs Rockies NFRI (-116 at ProphetX)

The Colorado Rockies are among baseball’s leaders in not seeing a first run plate in their games, with goose eggs on the board in six of their first nine games of the season. The Milwaukee Brewers are on the other end of the spectrum, having seen a first-inning run cross in six of their first 10 games of the season.

I do like the pitching matchup in this one, though, which is why I’m leaning on the NRFI side.

Freddy Peralta has been solid in two starts, posting a 2.08 ERA and striking out 16 in 13 innings of work, allowing three earned runs total. One of those happened in the first inning in his start vs the Yankees, while the Brewers staked him to a lead in his start vs K.C.

Colorado starter Kyle Freeland has a nice 2.13 ERA in his two starts, surrendering three earned runs total in 12 2/3 innings, with no first-inning scores in either of his starts.
