Yankees vs Blue Jays Prediction, Picks, & Odds for Today’s MLB Game

Aaron Judge remains the most dangerous hitter in the AL and is in a fine position to do damage against the Blue Jays today. Even if Chris Bassitt can escape him, the Toronto bullpen has been a mess.

Latest MLB Picks
Aaron Judge New York Yankees MLB

The New York Yankees snapped their four-game skid on Friday night with a blowout win against the Toronto Blue Jays as Aaron Judge got in on the action with two more RBI.

The leader in the AL MVP race has notched an MLB-leading 34 RBI this month and my Yankees vs. Blue Jays prediction eyes more of the same today.

Keep reading for my full MLB picks and predictions for Saturday, June 29.

Yankees vs Blue Jays prediction

My best bet
Aaron Judge Over 0.5 RBI (+100 at PROLINE+)

My analysis

Following a four-game losing streak where they averaged just three runs per contest, the New York Yankees offense finally came to life in Friday night's 16-5 blowout win against the Toronto Blue Jays. It took until the ninth inning for Aaron Judge to pick up his two RBI, but the outfielder was all over the box score with three hits and three runs scored.

Judge has now picked up 16 RBI in 11 games over the last 15 days, trailing only Shohei Ohtani (17 RBI) for the most in the majors over that span. The Yankees slugger has driven in multiple runs in three of his last four outings and five of his last eight, so I like him to keep it rolling with at least one RBI against the reeling Jays this afternoon.

Chris Bassitt gets the start for Toronto and while he’s been solid of late with a 2.32 ERA through five June starts, the bullpen has made the Blue Jays a target this season.

Toronto’s relievers gave up 10 earned runs in Friday’s loss while the club’s bullpen sits 27th in the majors with a 4.78 ERA and tied for 22nd with a 1.32 WHIP. If Judge can’t drive one in against Bassitt, chances are he’ll get it done against one of the Jays’ relievers.

Blue Jays star player prop

My best bet
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 0.5 RBI  (+150 at PROLINE+)

Despite Friday’s loss, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. kept his hot streak going with a home run and two RBI, and I’ll look for him to do something similar this afternoon. Vlad has hit four dingers during his current five-game RBI streak, with 13 total RBI over that span.

Guerrero is arguably hitting the ball as well as he ever has. His 13 RBI over his last five games are just one shy of the 14 runs he drove in during May. His seven home runs in June are also the most he’s hit in a month since June 2022, when he had nine.
