The New York Yankees are one game away from a series sweep when they wrap up their four-game set with the Kansas City Royals on June 13.
K.C. starter Alec Marsh has seen some recent regression, and my Yankees vs. Royals predictions suggest Marsh is about to get pumped in a dominant win for the Bronx Bombers. Check out the details in the MLB picks below.

My analysis
The New York Yankees are blasting baseballs, and if you think Alec Marsh will slow them down, I have some real estate to sell you.
Marsh has allowed nine earned runs in his past two outings, and although he whiffed 11 across those two starts, he also served up three long bombs... so you can only imagine the Yanks batters are licking their lips.
The Bombers also boast a low strikeout rate (20%) and third-best walk rate, which have helped the Yanks score an MLB best 282 runs.
Meanwhile, the Kansas City Royals bats have been quiet during this series, scoring only eight runs. That bodes well for Nestor Cortes to continue New York's mastery over K.C.
Cortes has allowed nine earned runs across his past 27 frames. He’s served up a pair of bombs in consecutive starts but his xFIP (3.87) is in line with his ERA (3.87) and suggests a good outing for the veteran.
The Yankees are spanking the baseball, and Marsh is a fly-ball pitcher facing some serious regression. Marsh has trouble keeping the ball in the yard and that’s not a good thing on a humid day with the wind blowing out to left center.
New York is 8-0 straight up and 7-1 against the spread over the last eight road outings, and I expect that to improve to 8-1 ATS tonight.
Yankees vs Royals same-game parlay (SGP)
Marsh has more trouble this season with right-handed lumber, and that bodes well for Yankees DH Giancarlo Stanton and 2B Gleyber Torres.
Stanton has homered in back-to-back outings and has cleared his total bases prop in seven of his last 10. Meanwhile, Torres is riding a five-game hitting streak, and his .304 OBP and .299 BABIP suggest he could give one a ride against Marsh.
